What if I found a spaceship in my backyard?

Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today’s topic is from Scifimultiverse, which says: Discover a Spaceship. So let’s dive in.

Imagine I was trying to plant a seed in my backyard, and while using my shovel to dig the ground where I wanted to plant the seed, my shovel hit something metallic, and I heard the sound. Maybe it made a loud sound, and the curiosity in me would make me want to know what’s under the ground. After digging for hours, I find something that looks like a spaceship in my backyard. I would be so surprised and shocked. I would first drop everything I’m holding and just stare at it because I wouldn’t want to believe what I’m seeing. Then a lot of questions would start running through my head: What is this? What is it doing in my backyard? Who dropped it here? How did it get here? I would start questioning myself because it’s not something we see every day, so anyone in my shoes would also be confused and react the same way.

Honestly, I wouldn’t rush to tell anybody. The reason is that people like to talk too much, and because of that, the news can spread like wildfire. Some people would want to see it for themselves, while others would say I’m lying.

After confirming that it’s truly a spaceship, I might try to hide it so that the government won’t find out about it. Maybe I would tell one of my friends or a family member that I trust the most, but it would still be pounding in my head how the spaceship ended up in my backyard in the first place. How long has it been there? I would try to find out how old the spaceship is, to calculate since when it has been buried there. I would also want to think about the reason why it came to my backyard. Maybe some people were traveling in it, and something happened to the spaceship that made it crash and stop working. Or maybe someone hid it there so that the people they were hiding it from wouldn’t find it.

Like what @vickoly said, the spaceship can be a blessing and a curse. A blessing in the sense that I can use it to make money. Maybe at that time, I needed money, so I could take advantage of it and turn it into an opportunity. I could turn my backyard into a mini museum where people would come and pay to see it, and because of that, I could become rich.

But it could also be a curse because it would attract the government’s attention. As we all know, if the government hears about the spaceship, they’ll want to take it and make it their own property. And since it was found in my backyard, they might even want to dig deeper to see if there’s another ancient object hidden there. If I’m not careful, they might just give me a little money and demolish my house just to continue their search.

But if the government shows no interest in the spaceship after hearing about it, which I know is almost impossible because we all know the kind of country we live in and the people ruling it, then I would have two options. The first option is to call the museum and sell it to them. The second option is to give it to them so people across the world can come and see it. But I would make sure my name is written on the spaceship and that people know I’m the one who found it. Whether they give me money or not, I’ll still be satisfied with that recognition.

In conclusion, finding a spaceship in my backyard would definitely be a big shock to me. I would make sure that whoever I hand it over to uses it for the benefit of all nations and not for their own selfish interest.
