From Soil to Sky: The Nurturing Hands of Mother Earth

I have often heard many people saying that the earth below takes care of us like a mother, and it is true because nature treats us like a mother because, just like a mother, it provides you everything. Protection, food, nutrition. Even below all these things, nature provides us with all those things. Whether you need milk, food, water, or clothing, we can get everything from nature. Trees, which give us oxygen; rivers, from which we quench our thirst; soil, from which we get food; and the sun, from which we get energy. Every single thing that the earth below gives us, we get it from her, and that is why we call her Mother Nature, and this is what we add so much to in our lifestyle.

From the moment we are born on this earth, we get everything from nature. Whether it's water, milk, food, or anything else, we need cement for the bottom. We need trees. We get everything from the soil. The forests from where we get the wood we need to build our homes, the water from where we get our water, and the food from where we get our nutrition. It's a wonderful thing to have all these things in one place, and this should be the most important thing for us. But we haven't been able to take such good care of Mother Nature, right?

In today's time, there is so much exploitation of nature, and so much deforestation is taking place. Pollution is increasing everywhere. It does not seem right to call nature "mother" because we take care of our mother like we do, but we are not taking care of nature in the same way, and this is what is happening a lot in today's time. Because nature is such a thing from which we get all the things, and that is why we are dependent on nature. A day will come when there will be complete balance below. Then we will realize how important nature was. How important are those trees that we have carved? How important are those rivers in which we throw dirty things and plastic?

Have you ever spent time in nature? You might feel like you're sleeping in your mother's lap because it's so peaceful; a cool breeze blows. The birdsong is so quiet, and the leaves falling from the trees nearby create a unique joy, and this joy will always be found in the lap of your mind. That's why we call nature our mother. There are many times in life when our work isn't working, when we're deeply depressed. Personally, I climb a mountain and spend two to three hours there, silently, because I find peace there. I feel a sense of belonging. And the sound of all the birds gives me such peace. And these are the things that have made me fall in love with the ground.

Sadly, in today's time, there has been so much exploitation and destruction by us that we yearn to see a tree. Like in the cities, there is so much global warming that the temperature is very high, and this affects our lifestyle, and all these things affect our future generations, because we pay so much tax and use so much plastic, and there is no electricity left, due to which slowly our nature is getting exploited, and nature is not as clean as before, and this is our fault.

Kerala once had a large forest, a reserve forest, that's now being cut down to make way for a tech hub. But is that right? We can build anywhere. What would it cost to build that? But a place where over 200 species have made their home, where they live in peace, is exploiting that place, cutting down millions of trees, just to make it a pipe dream? Is that right? Granted, that place will provide you with a lot of jobs and boost the economy significantly. But you can build that thing on barren land, where trees can't be supported, but build it in a place that can support trees. It's a good place, and everything is running peacefully there, so that's a huge mistake. And that's why I want to say, never cut down trees to build a house. Because that house will never last.

I've seen many industries where there's a quarter of a river in front of them, but it's completely dirty because they dump their waste into the river. Is this right? So many species of fish live in that river, living in their own homes, living in peace. It's so wrong to pollute that place. The mind's factory is a very useful thing. Everything is made there for everyone, but it's not right to create an artificial factory and waste it there. Damaging a natural flow, and seeing how much dirty water, sewage-like waste, and plastic there is, is something we need to consider. If we don't address these issues today, it's going to be our loss, and it's going to be our future generations.

Lastly, I would like to request that we have to control all this deforestation; we have to give up our comfortable life a little because if we keep exploiting nature like this, a day will come when it will rain all over the earth. We will keep growing for oxygen. For water, we will have to beg everyone, and many scientists have even predicted that in the future, it will be more expensive than gold because the water level is getting depleted, and everyone says that 70% of the water is filled in a sense. But that normal water, which we cannot drink, is at a very low percentage, due to which it is becoming very difficult for us to get drinking water. Therefore, it is requested of everyone that they use less water and use it as efficiently as possible, and whatever fertilizers we put in the soil that reduce the production of soil, do not use that also and finish it because it will kill the soil from its roots, and all these small things will work like life sewers for our future generations.

We actually need mother nature to survive which makes taking care of mother nature very important.
