CLONING GOOD OR BAD?

in SciFi Multiverse11 days ago

Several times I have been approached by a lot of strangers telling me that I look familiar, never going to a place or gathering without finding someone asking me that same question, for my case, I would have to say that I have a lot of look-alikes walking on this earth, my friends will sometimes send me some pictures saying that the person looks exactly like me. Whenever they do that, I don’t see the resemblance.

Ever since I was a young child, I have dreamt and wished I had an identical twin. I so much loved the idea of a perfect look-alike that every time I see one, I fall deep in admiration for such a wonder. It will be a marvel and a dream come true for me, if it were to be possible to have a clone of myself, having someone who will look exactly like me, think like me and behave the same as I would.

I would welcome it with all happiness, making it possible for me not to have to show up for work every day by myself, assigning the clone to represent me in every area I deem fit. My clone will have to do the work, while I just keep myself healthy, which will work to provide money for our survival. I feel sometimes that the world needs a second of me or even more of me; having plenty of me in this world will make the world more hospitable. There was this movie I watched some time ago; I have tried so hard to remember the movie title, but to no avail. In this movie, a person could have made a clone of himself. So, the two main characters of this movie had themselves made a clone. The male will always send his clone out to work and also to dates; he was only interested in the happy hour but not interested in getting to know his date with a pure intention, while the female character sends her clone out on dates to con her prey.

With the dangers and the misuse of the technologies, it was banned for anyone to have a clone, and any clone fund will be destroyed. Which brings me to my conclusion, every new technology and development comes with its risk, some riskier than others. To clone a person may seem nice, tempting and welcoming, it will be very difficult for me to succumb to creating a clone of myself in the end.

Cloning really does sound fascinating, but I agree it carries heavy risks. Beyond the convenience, it also raises deep ethical questions about identity, responsibility, and how far humans should go in ‘playing God.

yeah it is..thank you for engaging in my post

Wow, I can relate to people always saying you look like someone else, I get that too a lot 😅. It's true what you said, no matter how fascinating cloning sounds, the risks can outweigh the benefits

asin eh..everyone just keep asking me questions, i hope we are not multiples..lol

One thing as you have rightly pointed out in the write up is that, cloning might have both the good and its bad side which is 100% correct. Thanks for sharing.

thank you for engaging bros.

You're welcome sir

I have always wish to see someone like me,but when I think it other way , I feel I don't want. Lol. The fact is it is beautiful to have and also has its risk

lol..naso, e just get as e be

So you would subject your clone to forced labour, while you keep yourself healthy and abstain from work? Do you think your clone won't later rebel as a result of being overwhelmed of playing personal assistant?

yes 😅 but i will make it worth its while, i will make it look like it was its decision😜

That is manipulation 🤣
