A heart full of gratitude is a heart deserving of more good things. As humans, when we do something for someone else, we usually expect them to say thank you or show some sense of gratitude, and if they don’t, we tend to get upset and might refuse them the next time they are in need. God expects us to also show gratitude every time, although not like humans, but with a heart of gratitude, we believe open more doors from God.
I am very grateful to my friend and colleague who stayed with me in the hospital when I was hospitalised, also grateful to my very good neighbour who took his time to visit and provided me with food when I need it at the hospital, very much grateful to the rest if my friends that visited me at the hospital, brought food for me and stayed with me when I was hospitalized.
I am grateful to my friend and his family, who have taken me as part of their family and have always made sure that I am a priority in their list and always come to my aid when I am in need without even asking for their help. God has been so generous to me all my life, not one day that I can remember that I stayed all day without eating because I lacked what to eat. This year, He has made me His project and has given me a purpose to be a light in the darkness, and I have been doing so graciously and with joy in my heart. The year is far spent, and I can only be grateful to God for His abundant grace and blessings over my life and over the lives of my family and friends. We have gone through challenges, but we came out not broken but rather stronger and mightier.
I am also thankful for the Hive blockchain that have made a place for me to spend time, learn, make friends and also earn, i have met a couple of people here this year in which one way or the other we have clicked and we checked up on each other one way or the other, which is also with the help of the hive communities and the moderators of these communities.
It's been a beautiful year so far. I’m alive and breathing, not hospitalized, not lacking my basic needs —it’s enough to be thankful for. Troubles come my way, but I have a loving father who always makes a way out of them. My heart is only filled with gratitude to God and a thank you to all my lovely friends, family and colleagues who have made this year a beautiful year.
