Predicting the future is different from knowing exactly what the future holds; one can use certain information to predict what the future may look like and have a relatively accurate prediction. The scientist often makes predictions and forecasts of the weather and other variables and comes out having a correct result, which can be done because of science. While people go to spiritual houses or fortune tellers to tell them about their future, others can see the future through dreams and visions, which are sometimes clear and accurate.
I have had a lot of times when I wished I knew what the future holds for me, or the outcome of a decision before I take it. It usually seems like life will be better just knowing what it has at stake for you. It will help you understand better the right steps to take and will prevent you from making terrible decisions. What if there were an invention by a scientist, a device created to tell what a person’s future is or how a certain outcome of a person's decision will be? Will this device make life better, even though you can't know the consequences that come after knowing the future?
Life, I believe, is a misery, and that misery is what makes life beautiful, we not knowing the future has kept us all with high hopes and dreams and these high hopes and dreams has caused us to strive hard to achieve those dreams, a person may lose hope in life having to find out that the future does not hold much good for him, not knowing what the future hold will only make you want to work harder and harder and order to achieve greatness.
People have goals, and they try to achieve these goals by putting in all possible effort and zeal. For a person to know the outcome of something right before the start will one way or the other, demoralise the person. As much as I will love the idea of a device that predicts the future, having the device in existence will cause more harm than good to human existence, in my own belief.

I agree with you, such a device and those information willl put human beings on their toes. I tell you, 24hours won't be enough again, for our hustle. This is because I see it as walking faster than our shadows. The question is, can we actually walk faster than our shadows? Just try it while the Sun comes out today. Then, if the answer is no. That kind of invention, though great, will stretch humans beyond their limits. Thank you for sharing.
