Hello friends, how are you all, I hope you are having a great day,, Today I want to share with you one of my favorite dishes, duck meat, as a recipe for cooking in rural Bengal,,, Bengali recipes, we all eat more or less, but when we come to the village and cook the food in the village, the taste is different,, I came to my father's house in the village from the city to visit and here we have a large number of duck farms, usually the villagers raise almost all kinds of vegetables and livestock,,, In our house, some poultry is also raised and duck meat is always cooked,,, Ducks are raised in almost all the houses around our village,,, This is an ancient tradition of rural Bengal,, Now not only in the village but also in our city, ducks and chickens are raised everywhere, vegetables are grown on the roof of the house,,, Vegetables are purchased at high prices in the market, so many people now grow vegetables at home, in this, along with financial support, the quality of nutrition is good There is because vegetable cultivation done by hand does not use any kind of medicine called formalin. Vegetables are usually cultivated using organic fertilizers and some quality chemical fertilizers.
Similarly, in the village, it is common to raise domestic animals. Almost all families in rural Bengal raise various types of animals. In our house, ducks and chickens are raised more. Today, I will cook a duck from our duck farm and share that cooking recipe with you when I come to the village today. Duck meat is one of my favorite foods among other meats. I have loved duck meat since I was very young. That's why I often raise ducks in our house. Usually, many interesting items are kept in any cooking, but I think that cooking duck meat in a clay oven is more fun when I come to the village. So today, all our cooking will be done in a clay oven.
I did all the cooking preparations for cooking duck all by myself,,,,I like to eat roti pitha made of rice flour with duck meat,,,but today I will not make roti pitha, I like to eat it with hot rice,,,,
Today our lunch items were duck meat, hot rice and jute vegetables. To be honest, when I was a child, I rarely ate bitter vegetables, especially jute vegetables and bitter gourd. But now they have become my favorite food and I like eating such vegetables a lot. I have come to the village. The vegetables of the village are incomparable and there is no comparison. And today our lunch items are all made from home-grown vegetables.
Duck curry and vegetables with it were an amazing item for today's lunch. Since it was one of my favorite dishes, today I enjoyed it a lot with all the family members and had a happy meal with Saba.
