In a world where emotions serve as currency, what should have been expected is a world where people would show mercy and compassion to others that are in need as emotions are always about pity and empathy.
In fact, if emotion should be used as currency, people would tend to help each other more than this time when the paper money is being put to use.
Emotions to me would have been a better currency, but even at that, there's other sides of emotion that are not as good as emotions are.
If emotions are used as currency, then abuse would be inevitable and this might inadvertently lead to the negative side of emotion which might result in anger, hatred and even war.
This wouldn't have happened had it been people would not take the good sides of emotion for granted. It's when emotion would be considered as currency that people would be faking things that are not and by this, people who are transacting with emotions would feel betrayed and cheated thereby causing animosity among people in the society.
Also through emotion, people would be prone to making mistakes which might bring about an abrupt end to the use of emotions as currency.
Although and like I said earlier, emotion would have been the best way of transactions between humans, but I don't think it's yet ripe to be used as one as our people are too dubious when it comes to transactions.
Even in this current state of us using the paper money, if you use emotion to patronize some people or better still, you use emotion in selling out your products to people, what you will see next is that you are being betrayed by your emotions towards them
In conclusion, it would have been better if we used emotion as a currency, but one thing is that it would not last as it's fraud and mistakes prone.
