Having delved into dreams sometime ago and just how magical, thrilling and riveting the whole concept of being able to see dreams during moments of sleep is, the possibility of getting one's dreams filmed to be replayed at will is on a different scale.
Personally, I tend to see dreams quite a lot. Not every single night though but then again, I also don't have dreams only at night and I want to believe I'm not alone in that.
On a scale of 1 to 10, scary dreams would without doubt, be a solid 8. Happy, adventurous, unrealistic dreams emerge at least. I've lost track of the number of times I had woken up teary, sweaty and dazed after a period of terrifying series of nightmares.
The fact that it often feels so real such that physically, I would realise it's only but a dream but can't seem wake up from it, almost like there's an invisible force pulling me in just doesn't make it any better.
Getting one's dreams recorded to be replayed and rewatched just like a movie clip, whenever he so wishes definitely sounds fascinating. For a lot of people, I'm quite sure it would be a chance of a lifetime, literally a golden opportunity for them to rewind and relive their dreams.
However, if I decide to follow suit, I know very well that it will end in regrets which is why I would quietly decline such an alluring opportunity without thinking twice. For the love of my life.
Given that I tend to have more nightmares than any other category of dreams, having my dreams replayed would be an absolute torture..... Hell on earth and I believe nobody fancies the idea of going through hell a second time unless in situations beyond one's control and since I have a say, it's a no no for me.
As much as I might be a fan of horror films, having to replay and rewatch my nightmares isn't an experience I would love to go through.
Not now, not ever!
