I think that swiftness with which our dreams comes to a stop is the most destablizing thing. You'll find yourself stuck with the questions of "What if."
What if I had dreamt some more? What would have happened? Would I have gotten a word from her? Would she have shown me something I needed to be careful about in real time. So many questions, but like you said, the opportunity that we have had to even dream of them is something we should be thankful for and not cling on to for the reasons you have provided.

The way dreams suddenly come to an end gives birth to all of those, "what ifs"
Countless times have I had to ask myself those too, I really wished the dreams would last a minute more, a scene more. But then, we should be grateful for those little moments as well.
