In these weekly updates we will continue to provide IBT community members with an update on our developing PC game - the one to have Crypto interactions.
More birds
As mentioned in the last post we are continuing to master birds of the bush.
This week we started on yet another native bird, the rainbow Lorikeet!
The rainbow lorikeet is a species of parrot found in Australia. Its a favourite of mine as I will often come across these guys when climbing mountains and hanging out in the aussie bush.
More animations
We continue to test harvesting animations and nearly have it licked, just a bit of trouble at the moment making it work consistently but got some good debugs working now.
Its time to start adding basic animations into IBT including crouching and possibly climbing.

Looking forward to it still. One question, I do not recalls seeing mention of background sounds, are we going to be able to hear the different birds and will they all have their own voice? It would be odd to hear an eagle sound like a robin after all.

I've been hiking and recording sounds of animals on the iphone but the quality isnt great and so it's hard to separate out the noises for game quality.
There are a number of free audios we can leverage, but really we will have to re-record some stuff when I upgrade the kit.
The game will absolutely have great sounds, but maybe not until the polished product..We will introduce more lower quality with the next demo.

Thanks for the info. Even though a lot of times I play games on mute, some games, like Skyrim, need the sounds and add to the overall open feel of the world.
