Demonetization

@buildawhale @spaminator @freebornsociety @meritocracy & @alpha

Users should not be demonetized for multiple posts because of 1 post. It's excessive & unfair. You should tell users exactly why they're being demonetized.

Plagiarism is taking credit for someone else's content. Posting links of YouTube videos alone, is not plagiarism.

I get rewarded because I directed users to the content which they found interesting, not the content itself.

I do not have to say in verbatim, that the content is not mine. It's common sense.

You are correct.
It's spam.

Perhaps you should read the rules:
https://hive.blog/faq.html
https://peakd.com/@cryptoreforma/hive-the-beginners-guide
https://jryze.me/hive/

Perhaps you shouldn't make assumptions. I'm speculating that the youtube videos are the reason I'm getting demonetized. After reading the FAQ's, most of my posts don't break the rules. I'm starting to think that my posts regarding the Kick streaming platform, a platform for censored people, is why I'm being demonetized on here.

I didn't assume anything, your posts follow a long established pattern, links to utub videos that you didn't create, nor added substantial text to describe, get downvoted.
This is not new.
You are not being singled out.
Nobody cares what you say, for the most part.

IF you want to set those rewards to burn, your supporters still get paid, you still earn reputation points, but the flags will likely go away.
Maybe the flags go away, you are on the deadend list, but others have gotten off of it, it is not impossible.

Or, you can continue as you are and your rewards earning will be at an end.
Up to you.

Hey @basedcontent! 🚫💰
Demonetization in traditional Web2 is one of the biggest threats creators face today, as algorithms and platform rules can change overnight without warning. 💡 This is exactly why Web3 publishing and decentralized platforms like Hive and InLeo are so revolutionary—they return true ownership, censorship resistance, and fair monetization directly to the content creators.
Thank you for tackling such an important topic for the modern creator economy! In your view, what is the biggest barrier keeping mainstream Web2 creators from making the full shift to Web3 platforms? Share your thoughts below! 👇🚀
