Fact is though, that there are 10-15 users with lots of influence, nothing happens without them. They should go ahead and address the problems, at least start an open and honest dialogue.
That would be great, for sure. But in my view it's also very problematic that we say we are on a decentralized platform yet the initiative is with a few people. I'm not sure we can have it both ways.
Anyways, somehow we have to organize ourselves better is what I'm thinking. So that we can be effective at making changes. Shouldn't be that difficult to gather multiple people, put together ideas, and find ways to implement some of the easier ideas. Just my thought.

True, but as I mentioned, without the top 10-15 nothing happens, and apparently they don´t want any change. Just maintaining the status quo and getting their nice passive income. At least it appears that way.
Well, the people with most stake have the most to lose from the token depreciating, I think the passive income for them is peanuts compared to what they have invested and what they have to lose/gain. So they are strongly incentivized to be active and to look for ways to grow the network. At least in theory. In reality, and I am simply guessing here, maybe they are not super concerned about their own financial wellbeing since they are doing more than fine anyways, and at the same time they can only put so much focus/effort into Hive, and they are also limited by their own skill set. It also takes time for things to happen, and it takes adoption by the users even if someone comes out with something.
I think we definitely lack clear and actionable ideas for growing the network. There's just not agreement between ourselves on what to do. Btw, have you seen the Distriator project that is onboarding businesses to accept HBD? What do you think about it?
Lots of speculation, the facts indicate differently, but anyway. It is pointless to speculate on motifs of other people.
I am aware about it, but honestly I don´t see too much benefit. Just more ways to sell HBD. We need an app / a use case to get buy pressure, not sell pressure.
