Would you say that flatter reward distribution curve could attract more witnesses? The Czech one, @tazi, told me he needed at least $ 1 per Hive to be able to maintain his server without as self-funded. It was a while ago and the utility bills have skyrocketed since then, so I wouldn't be surprised if a witness needs at least $ 1.5 to run a server without funding it.
