Server had a power failure.
It'll be a couple of day till everything is back online.
While everything is off I'm taking the time to do essential maintenance, cleaning the case out, shuffling some data around, OS updates etc.
Witnesses currently effected are @shmoogleosukami, @chisdealhd, @alloyxuast, @helpie-caster, @vimm.witness.
Scaling back witness hosting
I'm going to be scaling back the number of witnesses I run, namely @chisdealhd, @alloyxuast and @vimm.witness will no longer be hosted by me.
The @vimm.witness account is getting handed over to @chiren who will be able to continue running the witness node if they choose to in the future.

Sometimes you have to trim the fat for sure! At this point, I would rather put my hardware behind running Monero where I don't have to play the 'please vote my witness or validator' game.
Very true! The vote grind is very real, I'm super fortunate to have gained a steady growth in votes over the 3.5 years I've been a witness.
Most of the ones I was hosting was also for free, 2 for a friend, one voluntarily for vimm.
I played it with Hive-Engine and when these last big attacks started, I ended up getting pushed out of my top 10 spot by some new comers that have stacked a bunch of WORKERBEE and pumping their little dev buddies. I dropped to like 32 and cut off my server. Then we won't mention the shit show that is the Cosmos ecosystem, lol. That space is ridiculous.
