Hello my lovely Hivian people and a quick update from me to say that this community will spring back into action more again in January with perhaps a post or two between now and then. There is certainly a great deal to write about on the scene, a raft of new software instruments and other plugins have been released. I’ve not had the chance to get any of them yet in order to play around with them.
Maybe there are some other people on Hive who have a shared interest who would like to contribute to the community too?
Hive has been facing problems with it’s price recently and I know that has taken the spring out of some people’s step. Indeed it is disparaging but when I compare Hive to other platforms out there this is a far better place to spend time online than many others.
So let’s take a pause and make a return in 2026!

I think next year should be about Hive communities as they can add a lot of value regardless of the price. We need places to discuss our interests with like-minded folk. Other platforms do this, but they can be frustrating.

I am excited for the new year and I know that as soon as Spring comes around, that's when I get really excited about things in particular. Yes, communities should be a focus but I guess that is down to those of us who run one to be the inspiration behind each one.
We have some great communities here such as @buzzparty for example, talking of which, I am going to Alicante in April
I haven't decided about Alicante yet. I've got some other travel before then and I'm trying to avoid flying.
I was actually wondering how easy it would be to take a train there versus flying. We are going to Ireland in March and taking the ferry there.
Our next trip is by train across Europe. It's not necessarily the cheap option 😇
Check out Steve Marsh YouTube channel, a Scotsman who does a lot of travel content and often on interesting trains.
