Tina y Lalo son dos seres un poco extravagantes, con una amplia sonrisa y con un corazón amoroso en su interior. Amables y amantes de la naturaleza, viven para protegerla, esa es su misión en este mundo. No conocen la expresión “No se puede”. Para ellos todo es posible, y si se encuentran con algún obstáculo, simplemente lo superan.
Unas de sus características más importantes es su alta capacidad de ver objetos que se hallan a gran distancia y eso es una gran ventaja en su constante labor de socorrer al medio ambiente.
Habían llegado rumores de que un insecto alado de otro mundo, estaba causando estragos en las hojas de una planta, que era vital para la supervivencia de otros organismos. Tina y Lalo, haciendo uso de su maravillosa visión, lo vieron allí sobre una hoja de la Morera, que así se llama la planta, alimentándose, chupando su savia hasta dejarla tan débil que esta moría.
Analizaron que podían hacer para evitar que este insecto desconocido, acabara con la Morera, porque una de las normas de los cuidadores de la naturaleza, era que tenían prohibido matar.
Esto fue lo que enviaron a sus superiores en un comunicado, era la descripción que tenían de acuerdo a su visión.
Insecto chupador con tres pares de patas, alado, de color oscuro, dos pares de alas, un par de antenas, ojos grandes, comiendo sobre la hoja de Morera.
Esta fue la respuesta:
No tenemos a este organismo clasificado, traer especimen para su evaluación.
―Hay que llegar hasta allá, ―le dijo Lalo a Tina, desde acá no podemos saber con certeza, que está ocurriendo allí en el bosque donde vive la morera.
―Tienes razón, tenemos que hacer un viaje de reconocimiento y traer un insecto.

Tina y Lalo viajaron hasta el bosque, sus largas piernas le permitían dar grandes saltos sobre el follaje y desplazarse rápidamente. Durante su recorrido se pudieron dar cuenta que algo muy malo estaba ocurriendo, en muchos lugares las plantas estaban muriendo.
Ellos se lo atribuyeron al insecto. ¿Será esto posible? Pero lo extraño fue que no lo vieron sobre ninguna de estas plantas. Por fin llegaron al lugar que habían visto con sus grandes ojos y lo que encontraron les sorprendió y maravillo al mismo tiempo.
Las plantas de Morera estaban reverdecidas, sus hojas brillantes eran grandes y se estaban desarrollando muy bien. Sus flores muy fragantes adornaban aquel lugar. No encontraron ninguna planta muerta. Trataron de encontrar un insecto para llevarlo a evaluar, pero no fue posible. Los amigos cuidadores de la naturaleza no sabían que pensar.
En su camino de regreso, los lugares donde las plantas estaban muriendo, estaban verdes. El bosque se estaba recuperando.
Tina y Lalo concluyeron su misión enviando el siguiente reporte:
Los rumores son infundados, el bosque se encuentra muy bien. No encontramos ningún insecto alimentándose de las plantas, por lo tanto, no llevamos ningún especimen para evaluar. Todo está controlado, no hay motivo de alarma.
En las noches húmedas y frías cuando Tina y Lalo se acuestan a dormir, después de una larga jornada de trabajo, observan al insecto alado, un único ejemplar, ayudando a que la planta de Morera no desaparezca del bosque.

Tina and Lalo are two slightly quirky beings, with a wide smile and a loving heart inside. Kind and nature-loving, they live to protect nature, that is their mission in this world. They don't know the expression "It can't be done". For them everything is possible, and if they encounter any obstacle, they simply overcome it.
One of their most important characteristics was their high capacity to see objects that were at a great distance and that was a great advantage in their constant work to help the environment.
Rumors had arrived that a winged insect from another world was wreaking havoc on the leaves of a plant that was vital for the survival of other organisms. Tina and Lalo, making use of their marvelous vision, saw it there on a Mulberry leaf, as the plant was called, feeding, sucking its sap until it was so weak that it died.
They analyzed what they could do to prevent this unknown insect from killing the Mulberry, because one of the rules of the caretakers of nature was that they were forbidden to kill.
This was what they sent to their superiors in a communiqué, it was the description they had according to their vision.
Sucking insect with three pairs of legs, winged, dark colored, two pairs of wings, one pair of antennae, large eyes.
This was the answer
We do not have this organism classified, bring specimen for evaluation.
-We have to get there, -said Lalo to Tina, from here we cannot know for sure what is happening in the forest where the mulberry tree lives.
-You're right, we have to make a reconnaissance trip and bring back an insect.
Tina and Lalo traveled to the forest, her long legs allowed her to leap over the foliage and move quickly. During their journey they could tell that something very bad was happening, in many places plants were dying.
They attributed it to the insect. Could this be possible? But the strange thing was that they did not see it on any of these plants. At last they arrived at the place they had seen with their big eyes and what they found surprised and amazed them at the same time.
The Mulberry plants were greening up, their glossy leaves were large and growing very well. Their fragrant flowers adorned the place. They did not find any dead plants. They tried to find an insect to take for evaluation, but it was not possible. The nature caretaker friends did not know what to think.
On their way back, the places where the plants were dying were green. The forest was recovering.
Tina and Lalo concluded their mission by sending the following report
The rumors are unfounded, the forest is doing very well. We did not find any insects feeding on the plants, therefore, we did not take any specimens to evaluate. Everything is under control, there is no cause for alarm.
On wet and cold nights when Tina and Lalo lie down to sleep, after a long day's work, they observe the winged insect, a single specimen, helping the Mulberry plant not to disappear from the forest.
