I would certainly prefer to see more state- or county-level control, rather than leaving so much to Washington, DC. It would make it so much easier to keep an eye on what is really going on. Still, politicians will be politicians, and I'm sure corruption would still be rampant. Just on a smaller scale.

Decentralized corruption is still corruption, and I am by no means convinced the problems of power can be resolved without eliminating the system altogether, but people keep saying I need to "compromise," so here I am, suggesting a compromise.
