Esta propuesta nace como una iniciativa que plantea la realización de una muestra expositiva con la participación de 32 artistas plásticos pertenecientes al 1º Congreso Nacional de las Artes de la Imagen y del Espacio, declarado en asamblea permanente a partir de 2022, fecha de lanzamiento de dicho congreso.
This proposal was born as an initiative that proposes the realization of an exhibition with the participation of 32 plastic artists belonging to the 1st National Congress of Image and Space Arts, declared in permanent assembly as of 2022, the launching date of said congress.
Tiene por objeto reafirmar nuestro compromiso como venezolanos en defensa de nuestro territorio y consolidación de la soberanía nacional, promoviendo un llamado de conciencia y sentido de pertenencia, a través de la exposición de un grupo de obras plásticas que evidencian el sentir patrio, la experiencia y el oficio de este grupo de cultoras y cultores.
It aims to reaffirm our commitment as Venezuelans in defense of our territory and consolidation of national sovereignty, promoting a call for awareness and sense of belonging, through the exhibition of a group of plastic works that show the patriotic feeling, experience and craft of this group of artists.
Es imperiosa la necesidad de que la muestra pueda itinerar por diferentes espacios expositivos, salas y museos, centros de enseñanza a nivel nacional, con la finalidad de referir un tema álgido y de suma importancia que insta y promueve la visualización, el conocimiento de nuestra amplia geografía y el reconocimiento de la unidad territorial por parte de la comunidad en general y especialmente de nuestros estudiantes, el sector educativo en sus diferentes niveles y modalidades.
It is imperative that the exhibition can travel through different exhibition spaces, halls and museums, educational centers nationwide, in order to refer to a critical and extremely important issue that urges and promotes the visualization, knowledge of our vast geography and recognition of the territorial unit by the community in general and especially our students, the educational sector in its different levels and modalities.
Es importante señalar que hasta la fecha, Miradas a nuestro Esequibo, es el único evento expositivo realizado a propósito de un tema álgido y fundamental para el país y aun así, no ha recibido el apoyo necesario de parte de los diferentes entes a los que hemos acudido en solicitud de espacios para la muestra.
It is important to point out that to date, Miradas a nuestro Esequibo is the only exhibition event held on a critical and fundamental issue for the country and yet it has not received the necessary support from the different entities to which we have turned to request spaces for the exhibition.
Cabe destacar que MIRADAS A NUESTRO ESEQUIBO, fue realizada en su primera edición, en la Sala Gladys Meneses en el Instituto de las Artes de la Imagen y el Espacio IARTES y contó con la presencia de la Vice ministra de Cultura Mary Penjeam, en su acto inaugural.
It is worth mentioning that MIRADAS A NUESTRO ESEQUIBO, was held in its first edition, in the Gladys Meneses Hall at the Instituto de las Artes de la Imagen y el Espacio IARTES and was attended by the Vice Minister of Culture Mary Penjeam, in its opening ceremony.
