Art is something that's gonna help us to see the future far before scientists.
I was also bored of being a critic, more than being a critic it's better to be inspired from the art and Creating our own version of something new.

I agree, as it can direct the scientists where to look. It doesn't matter too much if the details are not exact, people will start working it out.
Some people never seem to tire of it, but I think that is because they haven't thought that much about it :D
