If you are one of those people who likes crafts or you prefer to build things instead of just buying them, the idea behind these lamps from the Portuguese firm OWL , it may interest you.
The idea behind this company formed by a group of architects in 2016, is simply to turn origami pieces into table lamps.

As you can see in the image above, when you buy a lamp, which you can purchase from the OWL website, you get a package in the mail that contains the base on which the lamp light goes, the pre-cut paper to assemble the origami lamp, and an instructions for assembling it.
A very simple idea, which if you want, you can easily replicate by looking for origami plans on the internet, and making your own molds with some rigid, foldable and translucent paper or plastic.
