What is HivePUD?
Hive Power Up Day has been taking place on the first day of every month since it's inception on that other blockchain over a year ago. There's a great old post from @sndbox that explains all the reasons you personally benefit from powering up. For the community as a whole, it's a great way to show support for our blockchain home by staking (aka powering up) Hive and adding to its value. And as @streetstyle has always said...
On the first day of the month...
I take a picture from my wallet and decide what amount I want to power up and I use swap app to convert HBD to Hive and on the first of November I will grow my account and can give bigger votes.

Rules from pudders:
• ...we ask that everyone who can do so, power up any amount of HIVE they are holding on the first of the month.
• ... we ask accounts that are currently powering down to please pause the powerdown during the hours of the first of the month.
• ... we ask that those who are trading and/or selling Hive, not to do so during the hours of the first of the month (and if possible, cancel any type of sell order on any exchanges for the same hours).
How to qualify for prizes
For those who have done Power Up Day in the past, please be aware these requirements changed a bit starting with the September 1st 2020 PUD, so please read carefully:
Your reputation must be above 39 and below 70.
Your total Hive Power (before the 1st) must be more than 100 and less than 8000.
NEW: You must power up at least 10 Hive on November 1st.
You must write a post about your power up on November 1st with the tag #HivePUD (International) or #HPUD (Spanish).
To be included in the winners list, you must meet all four requirements above. The order of the list (first place, second place, and so on) will be determined by the biggest PERCENTAGE of Hive powered up, not necessarily the most Hive powered up. As @streetstyle explained it before.

If you have 1000 HIVE Power already powered up prior to NOVEMBER 1, and on NOVEMBER 1 you complete steps 1-4 with a 100 HIVE Power Up,
and
another HIVE member has 300 HIVE Powered up prior to NOVEMBER 1, and on NOVEMBER 1st Powers Up 60 HIVE Coin, then this 2nd user would be winning with a 20% power up versus the first example with a bigger power up but smaller percentage of only 10% based on their account.

Yes it’s so much fun and the prizes are great aswell but the most important is building your account

Just powered up a little token, my hive power is still on the low side, about 2571 for now, am still coming up.
Am not sure if delegation is the best option but since i cant give much vote value with that, i did delegated the HP to whales so they could be using it to vote until I get a handsome number

Nu denk ik dat het met mijn gigantische bedragen niet veel gaat schelen, maar ik had de tijd en HBD was onder de dollar, dus gewoon zo gedaan.
Super , op naar de prijzen an naar een nieuwe badge dan maar 😉
Procentueel wordt het wel steeds minder 😃
Badge zal erom hangen, maar dat is niet erg.

Well, here we go. I never, ever let my hive sit as liquid (except for a small bit of liquid that I keep for purchases and gifts) but I have just put in a buy order and the timing just might work out that I can remember to power up on the DAY.

Yes it’s that time again and eventhough the markets bad, not all is working fully it’s great to show that we believe and what to grow
I powerup my liquid Hive every day to gain a bigger upvote. It seems wasteful to me to wait until the end of the month, when others can benefit from bigger upvotes!
True but when you power up a certain percentage the Prize you can win in the hive pud will give you more vote weight aswell , so maybe try it once in November and when you won a delegation of 500 hp I think your votes are worth more than the liquid you power up everyday now.
I like that you power up and so do I , just because I am to big in rep and hp to enter the competition and win a prize so I think it’s only if you can calculate that your power up daily won’t reach the amount that you can win it’s worth a try.
Oh, I never thought about the fact that the community accounts are low enough rep to enter!
