RE: The longest day and shortest night

Oh I have a fear of drowning too😱Glad to see that you encourage your daughter to try new things despite your childhood experiences.

That path with flowers looks amazing, I am eager to see some dragonflies pictures from you😍

I think it's nice to celebrate things, especially if you have a different summer there than most of us do in other parts of Europe.

I never made Pavlova before, nice to see you got skills in that area too.

I think the sarcasm force smallsteps has in her must come from the good genes from her parents. You are a good writer and I think she might get that from you. Will be interesting to see how she grows and develops her personality.

I think it is similar to most northern areas, but we are so north that the light makes a big difference :)

It is so easy, even I can do it. Give it a go, it is the perfect summer dessert.

I am hoping that she is much smarter than me - at least makes better mistakes :D

Enjoy your weekend!

I am sure she has a good example in both of you. Can you see the northern lights well from Finland?

Can you see the northern lights well from Finland?

Yes, when it is dark. Less often where I am , but a few nights a year I try to get some pictures and end up mostly just driving around waiting :D Up north, it is far easier and more likely to see them. Every time I see them I feel special - they are magical.

Uuuu nice. I saw them in Norway but they look better on camera than in reality. I was lucky to see a more intense green aurora from the plane while going to norway lol😂
