Hey friends what's good?

Can an 11-year-old boy have a positive impact on millions upon millions of other people's lives? The answer is yes, and his name is Frank Epperson.

Frank Epperson, was like most lads of the time, and he enjoyed drinking soda water powder and water. One night he left this concoction on his porch with a stick coming out of it. The weather dropped below freezing that night, in the morning, the popsicle stick was born. He dubbed it the "Epsicle", and thought of it only as a novelty that he passed out to his friends.

This young inventor didn't do much with this discovery for a few years, 18 in fact, in 1923 he patented this newfound "frozen ice on a stick.” A little later he would change the name to the iconic "Popsicle" that we know and love today.

There you have it, an 11-year-old boy makes a discovery that impacts the joy of millions of children around the world in a positive way. This is a good story to keep in mind if you feel down, that you too can make a positive impact in the world, sometimes in delightfully tasty ways, just do what you enjoy and keep an open mind.
