RE: The Human Mind: Wishful Thinking... or Unseen and Unexplainable Connections?

Thanks for sharing that story @jacey.boldart, that's quite something! There are definitely things we just can't fathom, at the current stage of humanity's development. I do believe that in time science will be able to explain what's really going on.

Here's another one for you: My wife is very — for lack of a better word — psychic and one morning as we got up she told me that she had a vague dream (content wise) in which someone kept saying "all hell is breaking loose on the Lower East Side!" over and over. When I turned on the small TV in the kitchen to get the morning news, the image that came on was the burning North Tower of the WTC, a couple of minutes after the first plane hit. That morning was 9/11/2001... and, of course, it happened on "the Lower East Side."

Pure chance? Maybe... except, she has been having premonitions like this all her life, and always in remarkably accurate ways.

Wow ! That's really interesting !... and sometimes scary I bet ! It always makes me wonder how some folks are so naturally tuned in and others don't seem to be. For now I know there is no known answer for that.

Sometimes someone I know will get on my mind for no apparent reason, friend or family and when they do, I always wonder if they are in trouble. Lots of folks don't share about the hard things in their personal lives, so many times I am not sure. Of course I pray for them, but I also try to make contact, call if I can or email or messenger, to make sure they know I am here if they need me. I don't tell it to them like that, but sometimes when in a hard place, people feel really alone, so just in case, I want to make sure they know they are not. I had a girlfriend years back that said it was uncanny how that every time she seemed to be going through something hard, I would call her, even if we had not seen each other in a very long time. So many times I don't really know if it's anything at all, but that really made me wonder. In the mean time, I keep doing what I'm doing !
