It's so different to what we have here which is one of the attractions. Also, we saw the fjords of New Zealand and it's a pretty spectacular sight. So, what's not to like?
You're lucky to have the chance to head north and I've heard those ice hotels are a good (cold) experience.
It would be good to experience but we'd need hive to hit $1,000...$850 would work too I guess.
I don't know anyone who has stayed in them, but I think it would be cool.
