Hola mis queridos, ya hay muchos hivers haciendo este reto y hasta tienen una comunidad activa en Discord, super interesante, me uní gracias a @tripode y vamos a ver qué cosillas nuevas pueden aparecer por ahí junto a @starstrings01. Les recuerdo este reto fue propuesto para incentivar a los bloggers de hive a hacer más post y luchar contra el qué postear cada día, como una planificación. ¿Cuál es tu trabajo soñado?.

Lo que me gusta hacer es hacer música, hacer música en una orquesta, trabajar en equipo, escuchar, discutir y tener resultados de calidad. Tengo varios trabajos soñados que entre ellos se complementan.
Como mi primer trabajo soñado quisiera estar en una orquesta de altísima calidad musical con increíbles músicos aquí en Venezuela. Si, en Venezuela donde existe tanto talento y pasión por la música, donde he aprendido tanto y conocido gente maravillosa y me divierte hacer música con ellos. Deseo tener grandes conciertos con muchos músicos en tarima, como lo eran en la época dorada del Sistema Nacional de Orquestas.
Mi segundo trabajo soñado es estar en agrupaciones de música de cámara y hacer música académica de alto nivel, donde me coloquen mayores retos y ponga a prueba mi propia capacidad de representar mi instrumento dentro de la música, tener conciertos y viajar mostrando esta música. Antes de la cuarentena tenía dos agrupaciones académicas el “Pabellón Barroco” ensamble de música antigua y “Orquesta de Cámara Caracas” donde soñábamos en crecer y vivir de esto.
Mi tercer sueño es llegar muy lejos con mi ensamble de rock sinfónico, El Ensamble Multiverso, no solo tocando sino dirigiendo y produciendo música. Y solo eso, que los toques y las pagas lleguen solas o con la supervisión de alguien más que sea competente y conozca el movimiento para llegar a sonar en cualquier parte del mundo.
Y por último sería dar clases, adoro dar clase y debo recalcar que presenciales, porque online es muy aburrido y poco práctico. Me gusta enseñar y tener feedback con mis estudiantes. Dar clase de viola y lenguaje musical a niños y adolescentes para formarlos en su futura carrera musical o sólo formarlos para que tengan una base que recuerden el resto de su vida.
Todos mis trabajos soñados los ejerzo o he ejercido en los últimos 5 años pero ninguno es bien remunerado. Todos requieren de muchísimo trabajo, esfuerzo, estudio, dedicación, movilización pero al parecer hoy en día la cultura no es importante para el mundo o se ha incrementado más la idea de que hacer música y tocar un instrumento es fácil. Más aún la educación pareciera que es mal vista porque no vale el conocimiento que transmitimos a otras generaciones y todo lo que nos tomó aprenderlas, ¿por qué debería enseñar algo que me costó años y horas de estudio en aprender de gratis?
En conclusión, tengo la oportunidad de tener mis trabajos soñados y lo que me gustaría es que solo me dedique a ellos y me den para vivir cómodamente. Deseo hacer lo que quiero y poder vivir con ello, porque ahora que es tan mal pagado y además viviendo en Venezuela, lo que hace es desmotivarme y distraerme, teniendo que hacer otras cosas que no me gustan tanto u obligada para ganarme unos dólares más.
Lo siento si fue un poco gris este post, pero así me sentía desde que ví el título de hoy. Quiero que sepan que sigo luchando por mi música y hacerme escuchar. Hago cosas que no me gustan o me distraen de practicar porque quiero hacerme escuchar. Algún día todo será mejor, “vendrán tiempos mejores”. El tiempo cuando la pandemia acabe y pueda ensayar, tener conciertos y vivir solo de la música.
What I like to do is play music, play music in orchestra, teamwork, listen, discuss and have quality results. I have several dream jobs that complement each other.
My first dream job would be being in a high quality orchestra with amazing musicians here in Venezuela. Yes, in Venezuela where is a lot of talent and passion for music, where I have learned so much and met wonderful people and I enjoy making or playing music with them. I wish to have big concerts with a huge number of musicians on the stage. Just like it was in the golden era of the National Ochestra’s System (Sistema Nacional de Orquestas).
My second dream work is to be in camera music groups or ensembles and play high level academic music, where there are big challenges and I can test my own ability to represent my instrument on music. I dream of having concerts and traveling and sharing the music. Before quarantineI have two academic groups: “Barroque Pabellón” (pabellón is a typical meal in Venezuela) who is a antique music ensemble and “Caracas Camera Orchestra” where we dream about grow and live drom this.
My third dream is to go far in our career with my rock symphonic ensemble, “Ensamble Multiverso”, not just playing but directing and producing music. And just that, that concerts and paids just come or with the help with the supervision of someone else who is competent and knows the movement to get to sound in any part of the world.
And last it would be teaching. I love teaching and I have to say that presencial ones because online classes are too boring and less practical. I like to teach and have feedback with my students. Teaching viola and musical theory to children and teenagers to train them in their future musical career or just train them to have a musical floor that can remember the rest of their lives.
All my dream jobs, I do or have worked in the last 5 years but any of them is good paid. All of them require a lot of work, effort, study, dedication, mobilization but it seems that today the culture isn’t important for the world or the idea that making music and playing an instrument is easy has increased more. It seems like education is bad seen because knowledge we transmit to other generations is not worth enough, and all it takes to learn them. Why should I teach something that took me years and hours of study to learn for free?
In conclusion, I have the opportunity to have my dream jobs and what I like is to only dedicate my time to them and they give me to live comfortably. I wish to do what I want and can live of it, because now that it is bad paid and also living in Venezuela, what it does is demotivate and distract me. Having to do other things that I don’t like to do much or forced to earn a few more dollars.
I’m sorry if this post became grey but that's how I feel since I saw today’s title. I want you to know that I am still fighting for my music and to make myself listen. I do other things that distract me from practice because I want to make myself listen. Someday everything is going to be better, “better times will come”. The time when the pandemic ends and I can rehearsal, have concerts and live from music.
