That must have been heartbreaking! I lost a whole year of photos once-2005- and it still makes me so sad. Now everything I have is web-based, I can access them from anywhere and I don't depend on any device to continue working.

        I put all my photos into Google photos. They are not stored on any of my devices, but I can get at them from any device that I am on.
