I love bows, they add a different touch to any piece, or by themselves as a hair ornament, they look beautiful!

In my last post, developed the elaboration of a romantic dress; However, at the request of one of my followers ... who expressed the doubt of how I made the decorative tie for it. It is extremely simple and learning how to assemble it will offer you the possibility of using it in different pieces. Let's do it.!

Materials:

Lace fabric.
Lining fabric (Taffeta).
Pink pearls.
Needle, scissors, thread and sewing machine.

Step by Step:

A.- Cut: the pieces to be cut are those observed in figure 1. Keep in mind that it is a rectangle and its size is subject according to how big or small you want the loop. Also, keep in mind that you should cut the lace rectangle a little bigger.

B.- Armed: The first thing is to take both rectangles, make sure that the texture of the lace fabric is on the correct side, that is, that when turning it is our right. We will go to the machine and sew along the edge of the rectangle, leaving in the middle of it, a few centimeters without a seam. See figure 2.

C.- At the end of the previous step, the piece would be as shown in figure 3. The centimeters that we have left without a seam will help us to turn the piece around. Remaining as shown in figure 4. Then, we will take needle and thread and through the exact center we will make a loose and intermittent seam. See figure 5.

D.- We gather and finish. The piece will be as seen in figure 6. We will take the additional piece of ribbon, previously sewn and we will make a finish in the middle area. See figure 7. Finally, taking a needle and thread, we will decorate with the pearls. For my part I have done it in the central area of the loop, however it can be at the ends of the loop or perhaps we could also place the pearls in a disorganized way due to the width of the loop. It is a matter of creativity and taste. ! In my case, I used an alligator clip for hair, but this bow can be adapted to a ponytail or a headband.

The origin of ties dates back to medieval times, where knights wore pieces of maiden scarves, showy and colorful. However, as time went by for design reasons it simplified to be a rectangular piece of cloth. In reality, despite being small, they often speak for themselves. And this is the case of the colors of the ties when they are associated with a cause. A clear example, we have the pink ribbon associated with the campaign against breast cancer. Or also, the white ribbon associated with causes of peace and equality.

The associated use of ties is really interesting.

Me encantan los lazos, brindan un toque diferente a cualquier pieza, o por si solos como adorno para el cabello, lucen hermosos.!

En mi post pasado, desarrollé la elaboración de un vestido romántico; sin embargo a petición de uno de mis seguidores... que manifestaba la duda de cómo elaboré el lazo decorativo para el mismo. Es sumamente sencillo y aprender a armarlo, te ofrecerá la posibilidad de usarlo en diversas piezas. Manos a la obra.!

Materiales:

Tela de Blonda.
Tela de forro (Tafeta).
Perlas rosa.
Aguja, tijeras, hilo y máquina de coser.

Paso a Paso:

A.- Corte: las piezas a cortar son las observadas en la figura 1. Ten presente que es un rectángulo y el tamaño del mismo va sujeto de acuerdo a que tan grande o pequeño desees el lazo. También, ten presente que debes cortar un poco más grande el rectángulo de blonda.

B.- Armado: Lo primero es tomar ambos rectangulos, asegúrate de que la textura de la tela de blonda quede del lado correcto, es decir, que al voltear sea nuestro derecho. Iremos a la máquina y coseremos por el borde del rectángulo, dejando en el medio del mismo, unos centímetros sin costura. Ver figura 2.

C.- Al culminar el paso anterior, la pieza te quedaría como se observa en la figura 3. Los centímetros que hemos dejado sin costura nos servirán para darle la vuelta a la pieza.Quedando como se observa en la figura 4. Luego, tomaremos aguja e hilo y por el centro exacto realizaremos una costura floja e intermitente. Ver figura 5.

D.- Fruncimos y rematamos. La pieza nos quedará como se observa en la figura 6. Tomaremos el trozo adicional de listón, previamente cosido y haremos un remate en la zona del medio. Ver figura 7. Por último, tomando aguja e hilo, decoraremos con las perlas. De mi parte lo he hecho en la zona central del lazo, sin embargo puede ser a los extremos del lazo o quizás podríamos también colocar las perlas de una manera desorganizada por lo amplio del lazo. Es cuestión de creatividad y gustos. ! En mi caso, he usado pinza caimán para el cabello, pero este lazo puedes adaptarlo a una coleta o también a una diadema.

El origen de los lazos se remonta a la época medieval, donde los caballeros lucían trozos de pañuelos de doncellas, vistosos y coloridos. Sin embargo, al transcurrir las épocas por razones de diseño de simplificó a ser un trozo de tela rectangular. En realidad, a pesar de ser pequeños, muchas veces hablan por si solos. Y es el caso de los colores de los lazos cuando son asociados a una causa. Un ejemplo claro, tenemos el lazo rosa asociado a la campaña en contra del cáncer de mama. O también, el lazo blanco asociado a causas de paz e igualdad.

Es realmente interesante el uso asociado de los lazos.
