What separates the average from the exceptional is attention to detail.
This is so true with blogs vs other types of writing. I was always confident in the style and competence of my writing before I started blogging, but realized pretty quick that I needed to learn design skills to get eyes on my posts.
As soon as I took that plunge to learn GIMP and photo editing for creating punchy title images, my blogs started getting more traction. This whole blogging journey has been a wild ride of learning new skills. From video editing to basic blockchain SQL queries, I've ended up learning many things I never would have taking a more mainstream approach to my creative writing.
Nice to catch up with what you're up to Jaynie, and to see that you are well 🙂

GIMP is also a great piece of open source software. I use to have that on our public laptops in my shop years ago. I obviously still use the traditional design apps because I have always had them for my work, but will often make use of quicker "insta" tools these days too haha!
It is ALL a great learning experience and is incredible to look back after some time. You were always set for success because your writing is incredible.
