RE: Quest For A Good Quaff To Quill It Down

Wonderful Q hunt Joan. I always enjoy your writings and love hearing about the different animals you have in your country.

Your older brother sounds like a fun character and I can see you have fond memories of him.

Often the expression, “It must be 12 O’clock somewhere.” Is used here if someone wants to quaff a beer down before noon. At least your brother waited until evening. 😃

Porcupine quills can be a problem here if a dog gets them stuck in him. My brother had a lovely Irish setter that had to eventually be put down as the quill slowly went into his brain. The dog’s personality changed and became aggressive. The vet wasn’t able to remove it for some reason.

Have a wonderful Sunday.😊

Enjoy a !BEER. It must be past 12 O’clock at your end of the planet. 😀

When younger his saying "sun must be over the yardarm somewhere" was his favourite quip being a man of the sea, yes very special memories always.

Had fun learning today about a Quokka in Australia by @bmj another animal on letter "Q" on a different continent!

How sad to learn the Irish setter got into problems with a porcupine, the American species has barbs that apparently take some removing from animals.

Yes we safely into mid-afternoon after an enjoyable walk this morning Jo, have a wonderful need week, thanks for teh !BEER and lovely response.
