I wonder if loss of life is so hard because it is a reminder of what opportunities were lost in life, opportunities not taken with no way to ever have the chance to take them again.
If anyone deserved a rest, it was him.

I will agree that it is a reminder of such opportunities for me. This has seen me trying to do everything I can for my offsprings. Like I am covering what my mum couldn't with me.
