Day 894 Freewrite Wednesday prompt scratchy

When I was in school we had a mean old teacher who would get the students to settle down by running her long fingernails across the chalkboard, all us kids would cover our ears to drown down that scratchy noise. Do schools even have blackboards anymore? The last school I walked into looked like a mall inside, lots of open spaces for the kids to sit around and play on their phones. Now I understand why our school taxes are so high, but why are students so dumb? They have no common sense! Some of the things that come out of their mouths brings tears to my eyes, not because it's sad, but because it's so stupid. I was watching the news last week and the reporters were interviewing "spring breakers" about the corona virus and these dumbasses were yelling "No virus is gonna keep us from partying!" I heard yesterday that some University of Texas at Austin students were infected while on spring break ten days ago. I pray that they don't infect their grandparents or parents, and have to live with that the rest of their lives. Peace out.
