Air!

Armageddon came and went with the coronavirus that describes a typical commute. Governments are a thing of the past and money is useless. Survival is the goal.

It's half a day or so the clock tells you, you don't know, there's no light to tell. The light went out time ago, and it didn't come back on, although we're still waiting for it.

Now, there is only darkness in what was God's blue home, who pawned his face to save us from the pandemic and seems to have almost died in the attempt, because it disappeared along with the virus. There are those who say that one of them will return and fear that it is the virus, as its power grew to immeasurable levels and who knows if it discovered a way to invade the divine essence.

(End of five minutes)

I'm a survivor of Covid-19. But it changed my blood chemistry. My blood has no clotting factors, the virus has altered the platelets and proteins. It's horrible if you cut yourself. I'm afraid I'll bleed to death if I'm injured in a fall.

The darkness conspires against me and the sun and moon don't light up the sky. A thick layer of pollution due to the greenhouse effect caused by the smoke from the cremation of millions of people does not let any light beam pass through that barrier.

We no longer congregate, a habit acquired since the separation created to take space away from the contagion. We are solitary beings dreaming of returning to the past, for the future is uncertain. We did not appreciate what we had and lost it. Nature established the end of the journey. Now we seek a new beginning from the ashes of old times.

We all suffer from some alteration in our organism. So we tread carefully. We help each other where we can and try to restore the balance of Nature. We sow as much seed as we find, we do not consume meat, we protect what is left of life on the planet. It is a journey without gods or paternalism, hoping that on the way back we will find at least part of what we have lost: the sun, the sunrises, the sunsets, the moon, the stars, the light, the health, the life...the air!

Friend @zeleiracordero, I have loved your philosophical approach with which you approach the tragedy of humanity. God bless you abundantly.

So be it, dear @felixgarciap! May your blessings be multiplied to you in health and well-being.

It's a really scary time out there. Watching the news makes one think that infection can be caught just by going outside. I don't think it's the zombie apocalypse yet, but it feels that way.

Yes, isn't it? It terrifies the uncertainty!

I sure hope this does not turn out to be true! I'm betting on this virus being no worse than a bad cold, made worse by media that loves to get us frantic over nothing much. I want my freedom back, and fear the loss of that far more than I fear any virus. But great story! Super creepy!

I'm here to deliver the Tuesday prompt so please write us another!

Aunque es totalmente apocalíptico, me gustó el escrito. Tienes mucha calidad. Seguramente habrá pronto muchos libros y películas que describan estos hechos insólitos que vivimos., Un abrazo
