Hello, dear readers, welcome once again to my blog!

After reading an amazing blog post titled «How to build and audience», I felt inspired to analyze, rethink and organize what I've been doing to build and improve both my blog and my audience. This point in particular gave me the idea to start a Weekly Planning series, where I will be, first, telling you about what I did in my blog for the last week and what I plan on doing for the next week, and second but not last, sharing some valuable advice and tips on blogging and organizing your content, from other authors and from myself.

I wanted to make My Weekly Planning in the form of carrying a notebook, where I will write my ideas in a kind of graphic, fun way. It is meant to showcase the posts written in the last week, as well as presenting some content I'll be publishing in the starting week. Therefore, here's My Weekly Planning #2!

Now, I want to make a comparison between the first planning and the second. Here you have them, take a good look!

As you may have noticed, my writing goals for the week that just ended were a bit over-inflated when I planned them, as I'm still in the process of learning how to organize the way I produce my content realistically and consistently. I've been reading a couple of articles on this subject and this is the topic I'd like to talk about with you today. So, let's get into it!

Successfully producing content for an audience is not an easy process, and it includes from the very moment an idea crosses our mind to the point where our post is already published, and we start engaging with the readers. So, here are a series of tips that I implement throughout the process, and that I'd like you to try.

Keep a notebook or note app to register your ideas

If you write down your thoughts for future posts as soon as they pop up in your mind, there's a better chance you will remember the details of what you want to write when you're actually producing the content.

Establish a realistic chronology for your content

When producing different series about specific topics, track your progress and establish a reasonable amount of time between the posts of a series, to give time to your readers to enjoy each post, and not leaving too much interval so that the interest fades. A couple of days or even a week in between seem like a fair point to start. For this matter, it's also a great idea to write down your content chronology for the week ahead, considering what you would have produced in the last days.

Focus your content creation to topics you enjoy

Find the subjects that you love, and you will also love writing about them. Whether it's fiction or reviews about music, films, games, etc., try to choose topics you really enjoy. That way the moment you dedicate to writing your content will feel not as an obligation but as a pleasant hobby.

Choose a time of the day that works for you

Try sitting to write at different hours of the day and find out which one works best for you. You might prefer doing it first thing in the morning, or late at night, depending on your daily routine and other tasks to perform. For me, it fits better to produce my content between the first hours in the morning, then doing some proofreading in the late afternoon, and get it ready to be published the next day.

My final suggestion for you

After reading this post, your mind might be overflowing with ideas for your own content, am I right? Well, that's amazing! And I would really like you to take some time to write them down and start planning and organizing. For me, if I don't find a way of ordering and assembling my thoughts, I go crazy. My mind is usually overactive, imagine when I have a new project. So, let's take a deep breath, and begin working towards the future!

I'd like to invite you to post your Weekly Planning as well. I'll be really glad to know your thoughts and projects! Please, use the tag #MyWeeklyPlanning and don't forget to mention me, so I can check your post 💜 I promise to give you some positive feedback and a Tweet share so others can join the conversation!

I hope you enjoyed this post about how to better organize the content production for your blog! 😄 Any questions, comments, or suggestions, see you in the section below ✅ Until next time!
