An Era of Collaboration
I thought I would show some progress over the two months that I've brought the HIVE brand to Torum. What I've done is I've created a brand profile for HIVE and started to update regularly some of the more important updates of HIVE on Torum so that other crypto enthusiasts will get to know about this blockchain. Unfortunately, not many have heard of HIVE and what HIVE is. As I believe more in collaborating than competing, I've spent sometime promoting HIVE to the Torum team as well because I believe we both can benefit what each of our platform/blockchains may offer. For me, Torum is a nice recipe that HIVE lacks, that is the 'really' social media side of it. Before I share with you some of the progress I've seen over the weeks, here is what Torum is actually about.
What Is Torum?
Torum is powered by the token, XTM and is aiming to be a crypto-centric social media platform and a hub for all crypto projects and enthusiasts to gather. In layman's term, think of it like linkedin but for crypto projects and also a facebook side of socializing features.
Torum is partly centralized and decentralized. It is created by a company called Torum Technology sdn. bhd. from Malaysia, my home country.
The centralized part is where the company takes care of the frontend and backend of the Torum platform, the ui/ux, user experiences and overall mechanics. The decentralized part is where they'll be using XTM, an erc-20 based token as a tipping reward/mission rewards to incentivize events, content on the platform.
In a Nutshell, Torum is going to be a HUB where every other blockchain community will converge on. Whether to start a dicussion, to promote/shill their projects or to broaden their network.

On 13 Steptember 2020, 11:43AM, the HIVE profile has garnered 1383 followers and is rising daily. Take note that Torum is still in private beta and hasn't been launched to the public yet. Amazingly, we have one of the highest profile following in the current Torum space right now.
I also managed to invite a few HIVE projects and dapps to Torum to list their profiles to gain extra exposure from outside of just HIVE itself. I really want us to stick our flags first on Torum as it has a potential in helping us promote Hive to the world. Also, glad that the @zenzo ecosystem have joined us on Torum as well as Torum will be the place where communities from all blockchain gathers.
These are just some of the HIVE communities/projects/dapps are on Torum already. Other than that, I regularly post important topics taken from HIVE itself to try promote HIVE. Some of them are the awesome statistics by @arcange, latest news by @peakd, community initiatives by @jaynie, HIVE newsletters, some development topics, new dapps launching by @dapplr and @ecency, weekly HF24 updates by @blocktrades and many more topics revolving around HIVE.
There are many more and I wished that I can share every important detail on HIVE but with my day job as well, I only have limited time to spare for the day. That is why I need every help I can get. Whether you want to come join Torum to support HIVE promotion or to list your HIVE projects/dapps, is all up to you.
Looking for HIVE Brand Ambassadors & HIVE Projects
I'm still looking for any Hivers who are passionate in promoting HIVE to other crypto enthusiasts and other projects to the world. We always say that we need to promote Hive, and now this is it. I'm giving us a headstart and I hope this will get many more people to know what Hive is when Torum starts opening listings to the public. So far we have three projects already registered, @steemitbloggers(powerhousecreatives),@hivehustlers, @surpassinggoogle (ulog), @bagofincome and @quello. Many other Hivers have joined too to help spread the existence of the HIVE Blockchain. I know there is already a indonesian community from Hive on Torum.
I have setup a Hive Blockchain Profile as a company on Torum and I'm looking to find HIVERs to help manage and run the brand. You will be added as a manager for the company and you will be able to post from the company's page updates on HIVE, HIVE articles and whatever you deem fit to promote HIVE. Also after signing up, you can always DM me and I can guide you on how to list your HIVE projects/dapps for free too! There are many non-hivers spreading posts and statuses from the HIVE profile which is very good, so everything is going as planned.

Thanks man. Yea, I'm actually curious too. I know of 1 or 2 conversion but I didn't go and monitor. Do not have that much time for that. XD It also goes both ways. A lot of Hivers have come to Torum to build their community/projects and at the same time a lot more people are hearing about HIVE for the first time.
Yes, I know what you mean. Time management is the main reason we pick our battles.
Pretty interesting though. I'll put Torum on my list of things to research.
