How could you eat those chickens, @gentleshaid? I would make a terrible farmer. Could never separate the pet from the slaughter :)

I hope the goats are for milk, and not for eating! So cute. I'd love to own a goat but I don't think they are allowed in my suburban community. Plus, goats should live in pairs, not alone, right?

They are very good for clearing out poison ivy, I think. I would lend them out to homeowners who had poison ivy problems.

Beautiful little animals...spirited too (they keep escaping !).

Hehe... The primary aim is farming, not pet keeping. Though one tends to get emotional with them sometimes. However, that emotion doesn't overcome the fact that they are foods in the long run. The only animal I can keep as pet around here is cat.

I need to learn how to milk goats. Then, my objectives could change. Also, not sure poison ivy grows is indigenous here. THe animals are settling down fast now. EVen if I open the gate they don't want to go out anymore.
