Todo empezó cuando me cansé de comprar pimiento fresco, siempre compraba mis pimientos picantes en el mercado, pero no tenía forma de conservarlos por mucho tiempo, al menos hasta el siguiente día de mercado antes de comprar otro. . Tenía que comprar solo lo que podía usar por comida, esto me hizo pensar en qué hacer para salvar la situación, así que se me ocurrió la idea de cultivar un jardín de pimientos y decidí cultivarlo para mi uso personal. no importa que tan pequeño. Fue un desafío para mí porque no había terreno disponible para la siembra de pimiento, pero me dije que como sea, se hará y verdaderamente ha sido un viaje exitoso hasta el final.
Uno de los días que fui al mercado, considerando que nuestros principales mercados aquí se venden una vez a la semana, por lo que tendrás que visitar el mercado cuando sea necesario, fui al mercado y visité a un amigo cercano a quien uso. para comprarle verduras, le pido que me consiga esta especie de pimiento que es muy picante y se pica muy bien, así que lo conseguí para que venga a cuidarlos y trasplantarlos con letras, mientras pienso dónde los trasplantaré. a. Incluso sin la posible ubicación de la plantación, seguí adelante para iniciar el proceso.
Proceso de enfermería:
Cuando regresé del mercado tuve que quitar las semillas de pimiento y rociarlas al sol para que se secaran y estuvieran listas para ser puestas en la tierra. Conseguí algunos excrementos de aves, los mezclé con tierra y luego los puse en una bolsa de plástico negra, los regué un poco y rocié mis semillas de pimiento en la superficie del suelo, luego usé algunas hojas verdes, como la hoja de Owolowo, para cubrirlo. , dejar reposar unos días para que crezca.
Primer trasplante:
Había muchas semillas en la bolsa, así que las dejé crecer durante aproximadamente 12 a 18 días, con riego efectivo. Plantación final:

Greetings to all my friends and members of the #homesteading community, I want to start my homesteading daily journal, i get so much inspiration and vibes from @monica-ene, @jacobpeacock and more other, and am glad its starting today. I will be doing my publications after every two days starting from today in other to give you a comprehensive update of my homesteading journey, I was supposed to make this publication in the early hours of the morning but i had some unforeseen circumstances, all the same i am finally beginning the journey today.
Today is my starting post of the journey, i have long anticipated this but am glad that i can now begin the journey. Am glad to be here, to share even as i begin my journey with my hot pepper garden.
It all started when i felt tired of buying fresh pepper, I was always buying my hot pepper from the market, but for the fact that i had no ways of preserving them for a long time, at least till the next market day before buying another. i had to be buying just what i can use per meal, this got me thinking, of what to do to salvage the situation, so the idea to cultivate a pepper garden came to my mind and I decided to cultivate it for my personal use, no matter how small. It was challenging for me because there was no available land space for the pepper planting, but i told myself that however it will be, it will be done and truly it has been a successful journey all the way.
One of the days as i went to the market, considering that our major markets here is sold once a week, so you will have to visit the market as at when necessary, I went to the market and i visited a close friend whom i use to buy vegetables from, I ask her to get for me this species of pepper that is very hot and cents very well, so I got it so that I will come and nurse them and letter transplant them, while thinking of where I will transplant them to. even without the possible location of planting i went ahead to start the process.
Nursing Process:
When I returned from the market I had to remove the pepper seeds and sprayed them on the sun to get the seeds dried and ready to be put into the soil. I got some poultry dumps, mixed it with the soil and then put it into a black plastic bag, watered it a little and sprayed my pepper seeds on the top soil, then I used some green leafs, like the Owolowo leaf, to cover it, leave for some days for it to grow.
First Transplanting:
The seed where much in the bag, so I allowed to grow for about 12 to 18 days, with effective watering, By this time I didn’t still figure out where to transplant them to, so I had to do what I call, pre-transplanting, from the nursery to another bag, so as to give it more attention, while waiting the final transplanting.
As you can see the pepper are growing very well, so fresh and greenish, after this period, I allowed them again for about a month, with effective watering, as you can see, though the weather happens to be very harsh but the pepper was as good as should be.
Final planting:
I letter transplanted a few of them to some little space by my apartment and then some, where also transplanted into a more big bag, by the side of my apartment, you can see the few I had transplanted, to the little space and also the once planted in bags.
Am grateful that I moved to get this done, as you can see the pepper are yielding so fast and am beginning to make use of them in smaller quantity, and am so happy that this is a dream come through.
