Quality vegetables and fruits are not always easy to come by and even if i do fertilizer used on the vegetable plant to make it grow on time and meet market demand means that the quality of some are not actually what our body requirements need, nothing beats eating something fresh but the over use of fertilizers is understandable until it is misused, some lands are not fertile so farming is not possible unless if fertilizer is used.
Fresh as this African spinach is there hasn't been any form of fertilizer applied to it even if I might add manure to it that won't be in the first few week because all it needs right now is good supply of water and good soil but later on things might change depending on how fertile the soil is, available water supply and also the weather condition. It won't take long before I start harvesting from this particular portion because vegetables don't need a long time to be ready but it is even better if it is still young because it is still fresh and there has been little or no exposure to pest or diseases.
CULTIVATION AND IRRIGATION
Cultivation is very easy just have to till the soil and irrigate the ground for some time if the ground is dry and then plant the seeds using dispersal procedure, you don't have to do anything to protect the seed from pest because the seed is very tiny and it will be difficult for pest to seed it until it starts germinating then you can hold on and continue wetting it then everything is good that's how easy it can be, you can't compare this to maize, rice and beans because the work there is on a different level thats why you can easily have African spinach in your garden no matter how lazy one might feel its job in this case is just like some form of exercise.
