Take it or leave it this year has been the year I had the most success with potato cultivation because of how smooth everything has been so far.
Potatoes are a dominant and creative crop that can wow you with how well they will grow and produce under some extreme circumstances, even when other crops are struggling to survive.
It is practically built to survive when the weather conditions are not totally looking as they should, which explains its success when we cultivate it around periods when you would assume that the rain forecast. The year is done already.
This vine that you see all over the ground is the secret source of this delicious and tasty tuber, and all you need is a small vine tucked into the ground under some nice conditions, and you are in for a good harvest already.
It doesn't ask for too much care, nor does it need too much water, but that doesn't mean that the ground should be completely dry. What I mean is that under dew conditions, potatoes will still do so well that you will think it's getting all the care in the world.
You can get so many tubers from small farms and little vines. Most times, we come home with so many bags of potatoes from farms as small as this, the only problem we are having is storing tubers for long, this has been a big challenge so far but I know.
Soon enough, solutions will come to that, and that way we will be able to cultivate it even more.
