How hot 🥵 can a place be down to the level where your skin begins to change showing skin burns for people with light skin, and you can't spend the night in your room at times when temperatures get above 40 degrees and there's no light where you can turn on the fans and the wells around begin to dry up.

I know some were shocked when they saw temperatures above 40 degrees 🌡️, well that's the challenge with places that are not far from the desert, Sokoto is so close to the Sahara desert on the map that you can almost forgive these regions for being this hot

The homestead needs a lot of shade, and certain trees will provide just that. These trees don't use seeds as their germination source; all you need is a small part of the plant, like its stem, and then you can grow a very big canopy-like tree from it.
Growing up, we were fortunate to live in safe environments where we could relax and spend the night outside under the shade of trees.



These trees provided a much-needed refuge during those sweltering nights when temperatures soared and felt relentless.
It was a comforting experience, being surrounded by nature, away from the stifling heat.
