What do you do when your trusted power generator decides to take a little break, leaving you in the dark? πŸ€”πŸ’‘

Well, that’s exactly what happened to me not too long ago! My generator developed a significant problem when it got knocked, and a significant hole was left in the machine, turning it into quite the little adventure to fix. πŸ› οΈπŸŒ€

This generator has always been my reliable backup whenever the lights go out, and lately, I’ve even been using it as my main power source thanks to the recent drop in supply due to the electricity supply company. You know how it goes sometimes things just get a bit unpredictable, especially with the electricity company causing outages! βš‘οΈπŸ˜…

So, you can imagine my disappointment when it stopped working. This generator powers the two pumps that provide water to my entire property, so when it went down, everything came to a sudden halt. πŸš«πŸ’§

To top it all off, my heart sank even more when I received the repair quote. πŸ’”πŸ’Έ With finances being a bit tight lately, it definitely added some extra stress! But you know what? I’m keeping my head up and hoping for a quick fix! 😊✊

Generators have gotten more expensive lately, likewise their parts, so I was about to spend a whole lot of money, even when I had little to no money in my account, since everything has gone to my farms. πŸ’°πŸŒΎ

A quotation of two hundred thousand naira is a big deal for me with the condition right now but luckily for me, I had other options to raise the πŸ’° money, there are three similar generators that I had abandoned due to similar issues and now was the time to move everyone on and create the necessary space and finance that I need.

I got a hundred and fifty thousand naira from the three, then I was able to complete the rest from my personal purse, so that I could keep things working. πŸ’ΈπŸ˜Œ

Sometimes it's not about the money spent to fix these things, but the money that I will lose if the generator isn't working, which was my major thought while I was making this decision. πŸ€”πŸ’

Have you been caught up in a situation like this that requires swift decisions that are not easy? ❓
