Hello Hive

This morning we are continuing with our planting of groundnuts as we have arrived the farm very early enough for this purpose. I have some apprentice that will be resuming their fashion training with me by noon hence I cannot afford to spend the whole day in farm. Even though I am not totally perfect in sewing a couple of persons still admires the design I make and have signed up to learn from me. Well I will only give out what I have whole working on myself. I had volunteer to do this for free during this holiday period for a few person rather than focus on the monetary aspect alone and forget about making impact.

I work in the farm during the mornings and still make it home at home to give them a few lesson, very soon you all will see what we are up to. Just when I thought that we have planned enough groundnuts for the year, daddy came up to say he wants to plant some more.

The timing for planting groundnuts is already far gone and soon as the month of July is completed it is dimmed very late to plant any nuts but someone just leased this very quality space to my dad that will be very good for growing some nuts hence he decided to plant more groundnuts hoping that if all goes well and the weather is favorable till the end, these will equally do well like the others.

Daddy cleared the land and cultivated it manually with a hoe all by himself. He considers planting to be a very boring and slow task hence he invited us to join him in the planting.

Everyone took a portion of the grains in their pockets and are following the lines through to plant the nuts.

My baby sister hasn't been to this kind of farm before and it took me quite a tutorial to help her learn and know how to plant these correctly. There are rules for spacing and number of grains to be planted per hole, all of which were a whole new experience for her. I stated going to farm when I was about the age of 10 but it took us quite a while to bring her here as she is almost 14.

All the other locations we have planted groundnuts are not as fertile as this very piece of field we have gotten. This is the reason daddy is willing to give it a try and still plant some more grains even at a late hour. Hopefully in the next 3-4 months we would have reasons to be happy over these.

Congratulations 🎉 to the entire family. I pray the rains and other conditions come favourable. Land opportunities especially in a seemingly urban area is rare. Good your dad gave it a try. Plus, he is so energetic to have prepared the land manually all by himself. And good you introduced and taught your sister early. It's a life long skill
whaoo, that's even a more faster way of planting the groundnut without machine but it felt like you were dancing with the way you did your legs. hehehe
🤣🤣🤣🤣 what a dance with no music.
