The baobab leaves isn't often in plentiful supply all year round and since the leaves are what we often use for preparation of soup, we have harvesting a large chunk of the leaves which we are drying and processing to keep for later use.
I in particular do not know how to eat the soup but the leaves has been useful for me for the preparing the traditional herb here.

Harvesting the leaves if often a bit of a task because of the smooth nature of the surface of the tree, climbing is often difficult and in order to harvest much of the leaves we just de use various means to do so.

Here are the leaves we have been able to harvest which have been arranged in different order and categories to dry up. Afterwards they will be pounded into powder and can be stored and for continual use yearly.
