One of the ways to get rid of birds drops is by turning their feces into organic fertilizer most especially if you are fortunate to own a farm land growing any kind of crops. Ever since I was young, the animals drops have always been the substitution for Orthodox fertilizer. Since only few farmers could afford this financially, the next available option was to sort for animals drops from animal like Goat, Cow and broiler birds.
Fast forward to this time, since we have many Farmers around running poultry farm. It's now easy to get birds drops because we now have them in abundance but still, some people do not know the usefulness of these birds drops. As I have said, if you are lucky to own a farm most especially a maize farm, this will always serve as an advantage for you and your farm. Luckily for me I own a maize farm immediately at the back of my big pen with a fence separating them.

Some days ago I packed out some birds feces from my big pen in preparation for my next batch of birds and this was the right timing that I can make use of this birds feces. My maize plants are one month exactly. Basically, there are two ways to apply organic fertilizer on the farm land; it can be applied before making the heaps and it can be applied after growing the plant. But in my own case, i am applying while my maize plants have already grown.
So after packing out the feces, for you who has already made the heaps or your plants is already growing just like my own. What you will do is to be putting the birds droppings on the base of the maize plants. As we all know that, organic fertilizer of birds droppings help to improve the soil pH and help to improve the soil nutrients.
