If you like agriculture or plants, I think we have met in the right article, but if you don't like agriculture, there's no harm in being patient here for a moment and seeing a little about the fun of being a farmer.
Many people underestimate the profession of being a farmer, of course people will prefer millennial jobs wearing suits, shoes and with a computer screen in front of their eyes. Or prefer to become teachers, doctors, even police and soldiers. Yes, it is a job that many people like.
But here I will tell you a little about how beautiful it is to be a farmer. If you become a farmer then you are the boss of your own company, you can arrange your work schedule as you like, and most importantly you are able to make a lot of money easily, as long as you understand how it works.
After a long time of not being active at Hive, I spent a lot of time in the garden with my family. Recently I have planted several hectares of palm oil and areca nut. But this time I will share the story of when I planted areca palm trees.
Areca nut is an influential accommodation as a component of the community's economy, apart from being easy to market, areca nut is also very easy to care for. When I was off work, I took the time to go to the fields to plant areca nut seeds which were starting to grow. It is time for the seeds to be planted, which are approximately three months old. For the planting distance, I tried two meters, this is to keep the areca palm trees looking good and the fruit reaching the target.
I started going to the fields at eight o'clock in the morning, and after working for a long time in the hot sun, at twelve o'clock we rested to cook lunch. We also have a small hut as a place to rest, and we have a kitchen for cooking rice and coffee. My brother-in-law is very skilled at cooking in the forest, because apart from being a farmer, he is also a bee honey seeker in the wilderness, of course his ability to survive with minimal equipment is guaranteed.
That after we cooked kale as a side dish, this kale grows wild around the water flow at the edge of the hut. Apart from that, we also plant various other types of vegetable plants there. Such as long beans, tubers, chilies, limes and others. This aims to ensure that every time we cook in the field, everything is available there, and all the vegetables are still very fresh.
After finishing lunch, we started working again, even though the sun was still very hot, we had to remain enthusiastic so that all the areca seeds would be planted quickly. My farm is in the highlands, so if we are on a hill we can enjoy a very beautiful view. We can see many local residents' gardens and also hills.
Even though the sun is hot, we won't feel too hot, because when we are on the hill the wind blows very fast. So, while working we can also enjoy the gentle breeze and natural beauty. If we are tired, we are free to rest, we can even take photos to capture beautiful moments with amazing views.
I think you should try being a farmer, it's very interesting. If you don't believe it, start by becoming a home farmer. You can use your empty yard to plant chilies, mustard greens, celery and so on, you will be amazed at yourself when harvest time arrives. Start trying!

I think you should have several hectares of garden to prepare for old age. You are absolutely right, nowadays it is rare for farmers to plant areca nut because the selling price has dropped drastically, but I think this bad condition will not last forever.
Hopefully when my betel nuts start to be harvested the selling price will start to be high. 😂
