Dream Job Multiverse

In one life, I’m a dragon’s shrink,
Sipping tea as they sob and think.
I hand them tissues, calm their fire—
“Let’s unpack that burning desire.”
In another, I’m a snack designer,
Crafting chips that taste much finer.
Macaroni moon pies on display,
Served with glitter lattes every day.
Then I clock in at the cloud museum,
Where I sculpt storms—you’ve gotta see 'em.
Lightning loops and thunder hums,
Rainbows hang like chewing gum.
By dusk I’m a memory fixer,
Mending thoughts with color mixers.
Paint your past a softer hue,
Erase the parts you never knew.
So many lives, one worn-out soul,
But in this chaos, I feel whole.
Because who says you have to choose?
In my dream job multiverse—
I never lose.
This poem is my entry for the Sparks Fly Contest under the theme “Dream Job Multiverse.”
