A couple of days ago a new update was released in the Splinterlands "Rewards Store", introducing 3 new "Loot Chests" in order to replace the previous "Draws", where we only had as rewards cards (Soulbound) from the rewards edition under the "Chaos Legion" framework, This was a "Boom" in every sense of the word, as thousands of players used millions of "Glints" to experience the joy of opening chests and experiencing the thrill of what could come out of each of these chests.
However, hours after this release, the team made several changes regarding the odds that we could have what is called "A Jackpot", which basically we have already seen, only that the old chests we received only "Legendary Cards", however, with these new adjustments in the store, there are many more rewards than just cards, they have added several existing assets that are part of the ecosystem that of course have to do with "Splinterlands", which makes this update a success in a sense.
That is why, in this post, I will talk about the massive opening of the "Ultimate Chest" before the changes I mentioned before, although after that I also opened a few more, so, if you want to see how I did, plus some aspects I want to mention about this new update, stay until the end of this post:
The new chests and all their details
Before I show you and explain how my purchases were, I will quickly put them in context with a brief explanation of everything new that was added to the store, so, without further ado, let's go with the summary explanation of all this update:
What's New in the (Rewards Store)
Basically they introduced 3 new loot chests in the store, which are named (Minor Chest, Major Chest and Ultimate Chest), we could think of them as if they were of rarity (Common, Rare and Legendary), honestly I loved the simplicity of these, and did not create more chests for each rarity of card in the game, which greatly simplifies things and the player experience, plus the easy understanding, and remember that, the "Rarity Draws" are maintained.
On the other hand, like the previous "Rarity Draws and Draws", these chests have a purchase limit expressed in numbers, and every time you reach that limit, they will increase their price by 50%, that is why, in the image that I will show below, you will see that the prices that my chests have are not the initial ones, However, for those who do not have knowledge or have not yet interacted with the store and these new products, here I will leave a table with the initial prices without the 50% increase that I mentioned, in addition to the initial purchase limits and these important details for you to take into account.

Now, in the table above you could see each type of chest, which were the 3 that I mentioned, plus their cost in GLINT and the purchase limit of each one, to clarify, that is the current one, however, before the changes after the launch, the costs of the chests were the same, but, the purchase limits were different, for example, the "Minor Chest" had a purchase limit of 1000, the Major of 500 and the Ultimate of 100 and you can imagine the amount of "Ultimates Chest" that had to be purchased, in addition to the percentage of probability in the latter was 1%, instead in the current one, it is 0.1% that we could win a "Jackpot".
Jackpot rewards
I will not delve too much here, however, I will only be guided by what the "Splinterlands" team put in their official announcement post about this, in that sense, what we could get in these new chests is reduced to the following:
- The 3 new titles already in the store (The Proven, The Veteran and The Renowned)
- PLOT tokens
- Beta Token or also called "Beta Packs".
- Golden Cards I imagine "Soulbound".
On the other hand, each of these prizes have a limit, like any Jackpot this is not infinite, basically this is why they reduced the percentage of probabilities of obtaining one, since, in my opinion, the limits are quite low, for example, the available quantity of the titles is 50, 20 and 5, it should be noted that the higher the rarity of the title the less quantity is available, with respect to the PLOTS, there are only 500 available and the "Beta Packs" are 1000 units.

In the following images that I will show below, you can see the amount of "Ultimate Chests" that I bought before and after the season ended and the team made the corresponding adjustments in order to make the "Jackpot" last at least several months, in any case, to see the openings, at the end I will leave the links so you can experience my luck haha, I got one or another jackpot, but it was worth it, I felt very good, plus it was fun, I like that feeling of not knowing what to expect in the chests. But, that's more talk, here are the pictures:
In the last image you could see what I got in my 2nd batch of 10 "Ultimate Chest", where I won a "Beta Pack", on the other hand, talking a little more about my experience, the truth is that this change was excellent, the "Draws" were boring, it was already known what we would get and actually there was not much motivation to play, except for collecting "GLINTS" for the titles or the new edition of rewards, so it was a good move without a doubt, on the other hand, I think they are giving a lot of energy, this for obvious reasons will dilute the rewards in SPS, which could be a problem for the players in the "Wild Format" more than anything else.

Conclusion
Yes it was a lot of chests and although it was fun I would say that my luck lacks sparkle, but, I am happy with this and the new changes in the "Rewards Shop", on the other hand, not everything is positive even though I liked it, the reason is because of what I mentioned in the previous section, the energies come out very easy in the chests, in any of them, which causes that much more people play quite numerous battle amounts, this implies that they earn more SPS, but, if we take into account the amount of players that right now pass the 50 maximum energies, it is obvious to think that the reward is lower.
In any case, I will continue watching these changes and evaluating them, and then bring more information, but, at first this is what you have and the reality is that it is much better than the previous "Draws", on the other hand, I will bring new content this week of great interest, so stay tuned, I'm sure you will like it, for now, enjoy your battles and continue improving.

Hace un par de días se lanzó una nueva actualización en la “Tienda de Recompensas” de Splinterlands, introduciendo 3 nuevos “Cofres de Botín” con el fin de reemplazar los “Draws” anteriores, en donde solo teníamos como recompensas cartas (Soulbound) de la edición de recompensas bajo el marco de “Chaos Legion”, esto fue un “Boom” en todos los sentidos de la palabra, ya que miles de jugadores utilizaron millones de “Glints” para experimentar el júbilo que significa abrir cofres y experimentar esa emoción de que es lo que podría salir en cada uno de estos cofres.
Sin embargo, horas después de este lanzamiento, el equipo realizo varios cambios con respecto a las probabilidades de que pudiéramos tener lo que se llama “Un premio mayor”, que básicamente ya lo hemos visto, solo que los antiguos cofres recibíamos solamente “Cartas Legendarias”, sin embargo, con estos nuevos ajustes en la tienda, hay muchas más recompensas que solo cartas, han agregado varios activos existentes que forman parte del ecosistema que por supuesto tienen que ver con “Splinterlands”, lo que hace que esta actualización sea todo un éxito en cierto sentido.
Es por eso que, en este post, hablare de la apertura masiva que realice de los “Ultimate Chest” antes de que realizaran los cambios que mencione anteriormente, aunque luego de esto también abrí unos cuantos más, así que, si quieren ver como me fue, mas algunos aspectos que deseo mencionar sobre esta nueva actualización, quédense hasta el final de esta publicación:
Los nuevos cofres y todos sus detalles
Antes de mostrarles y explicarles como fueron mis compras, los colocare en contexto rápidamente con una breve explicación de todo lo nuevo que se añadió a la tienda, por lo que, sin mas rodeos, vamos con la explicación modo resumen de toda esta actualización:
Lo nuevo en la (Tienda de Recompensas)
Básicamente introdujeron 3 nuevos cofres de botín en la tienda, los cuales tienen por nombre (Minor Chest, Major Chest y Ultimate Chest), podríamos pensar en ellos como si fueran de rareza (Común, Raro y Legendario), sinceramente me encanto la simpleza de estos, y no crearon mas cofres por cada rareza de carta existente en el juego, lo que simplifica mucho las cosas y la experiencia del jugador, además del fácil entendimiento, ya que recordemos que, los “Rarity Draws” se mantienen.
Por otro lado, al igual que los “Rarity Draws y los Draws” anteriores, estos cofres poseen un limite de compra expresada en números, y cada vez que se llego a dicho limite, estos aumentaran su precio en un 50%, es por eso que, en la imagen que les mostrare a continuación, observaran que los precios que tienen mis cofres no son los iniciales, sin embargo, para el que no tenga conocimiento o todavía no haya interactuado con la tienda y estos nuevos productos, aquí les dejare una tabla con los precios iniciales sin el aumento del 50% que ya mencione, además de los limites de compra iniciales y estos detalles de importancia para que los tengan en cuenta.

Ahora bien, en la tabla anterior pudieron apreciar cada tipo de cofre, que fueron los 3 que ya mencioné, además de sus costo en GLINT y el limite de compra de cada uno, para aclarar, ese es el actual, sin embargo, antes de los cambios después del lanzamiento, los costos de los cofres eran iguales, pero, los límites de compra eran diferentes, por ejemplo, los “Minor Chest” tenían un limite de compra de 1000, los Major de 500 y los Ultimate de 100 y se imaginaran la cantidad de “Ultimates Chest” que se debieron adquirir, además de que el porcentaje de probabilidades en estos últimos era del 1%, en cambio en el actual, es del 0.1% de que nos pueda salir un “Premio Mayor”.
Las recompensas del “Jackpot”
No ahondare mucho aquí, sin embargo, solo me guiare por lo que coloco el equipo de “Splinterlands” en su post oficial de anuncio sobre esto, en tal sentido, lo que podríamos conseguir en estos nuevos cofres se reduce a los siguiente:
- Los 3 nuevos títulos que ya se encuentran en la tienda (The Proven, The Veteran y The Renowned)
- Tokens PLOT
- Token Beta o también llamados “Packs Beta”
- Cartas Doradas imagino que “Soulbound”
Por otro lado, cada uno de estos premios tienen un límite, como todo Jackpot este no es infinito, básicamente fue por esto que redujeron el porcentaje de probabilidades de obtener uno, ya que, en mi opinión, los limites son bastante bajos, por ejemplo, la cantidad disponible de los títulos es de 50, 20 y 5, cabe resaltar que, mientras mas alta la rareza del titulo menos cantidad hay disponible, con respecto a los PLOTS, solo hay 500 disponibles y los “Packs Beta” son 1000 unidades.
Apertura masiva de más de 130 “Ultimate Chest”
En las siguientes imágenes que mostrare a continuación, podrán observar la cantidad de “Cofres Ultimate” que compre antes y después de que culminara la temporada y el equipo hiciera los ajustes correspondientes con el objetivo de hacer que el “Jackpot” dure al menos varios meses, en todo caso, para que vean las aperturas, al final les dejare los enlaces para que puedan experimentar mi suerte jaja, obtuve uno que otro premio mayor, pero, valió la pena, me sentí muy bien, además de que fue divertido, me gusta esa sensación de no saber que esperar en los cofres. Pero, son mas charla, aquí las imágenes:
En la ultima imagen pudieron ver lo que obtuve en mi 2do lote de 10 “Ultimate Chest”, en donde gane un “Pack Beta”, por otro lado, hablando un poco mas de mi experiencia, la verdad es que este cambio fue excelente, los “Draws” eran aburridos, ya se sabia que obtendríamos y en realidad no había mucha motivación para jugar, salvo reunir “GLINTS” para los títulos o la nueva edición de recompensas, así que un buen acierto sin duda, por otro lado, pienso que están dando muchas energías, esto por obvias razones hará que las recompensas en SPS se diluyan, lo que podría ser un problema para los jugadores en el “Formato Salvaje” más que todo.

Conclusión
Si que fueron muchos cofres y aunque fue divertido diría que a mi suerte le falta chispa, pero, estoy contenta con esto y los nuevos cambios en la “Tienda de Recompensas”, por otro lado, no todo es positivo a pesar de que si me gusto, la razón es por lo que mencione en la sección anterior, las energías salen muy fácil en los cofres, en cualquiera de ellos, lo que causa que mucho mas gente juegue cantidades de batalla bastante numerosas, esto implica que ganan mas SPS, pero, si tomamos en cuenta la cantidad de jugadores que ahora mismo pasan las 50 energías máximas, es obvio pensar que la recompensa sea menor.
En todo caso, seguiré viendo estos cambios y evaluándolos, para luego traer más información, pero, en un inicio esto es lo que se tiene y la realidad es que es muchísimo mejor que los “Draws” anteriores, por otro lado, traeré nuevo contenido esta semana de mucho interés, así que pendientes, estoy segura que les gustara, por lo pronto, disfruten de sus batallas y sigan mejorando.
