La historia va de la amistad de nuestro querido Lancer, un niño que creció en un entorno difícil y nuestra querida joven maestra Alina que tiene problemas de salud, juntados por casualidad y capricho del destino, para luego formar un vinculo que los hace incapaces de soportar la infelicidad del otro aun a costa de su propia infelicidad...

El niño adoptado por el duque no se veía en buenas condiciones cuando llego a la mansión, este niño solo tenía un apodo por el cual respondía, ‘Lancer’, al duque no le importaba si el niño tenía nombre o no, solo le importaba si era útil para él, y lo fue, a pesar de ser huérfano y no tener ningún vínculo que lo respaldara, tenía la habilidad para defenderse, eso era lo que le atrajo de este niño, pues él solo fue capaz de derrotar a 5 hombres a pesar de su edad de 8 años, esto lo dejo impresionado, y la buena impresión aumento después de ver que al niño arreglado, pues se veía lo suficientemente presentable como para dejarlo vagar en su presencia.
El destino del niño Lancer se decidió, después de mandarlo a entrenar y capacitar por 2 años con los caballeros del ducado, se pudo presentar ante el duque de manera educada y demostrar su habilidad con mayor eficacia, el duque satisfecho con él, le dio la orden de cuidar y hacerle compañía a su única hija, Aline. La joven maestra del ducado solía tener problemas de salud, lo cual mayormente la dejaba de mal humor, se había calificado a Lancer como un buen compañero para la joven maestra, más que nada fue porque Aline lo vio cuando se enfrentó a los 5 hombres aquella vez y le pidió a su padre el duque si podía traerlo a él para que la acompañara y el duque lo cumplió.

The young mistress of the duchy used to have health problems, which mostly left her in a bad mood, Lancer had been qualified as a good companion for the young mistress, mostly it was because Aline saw him when she faced the 5 men that time and asked her father the duke if she could bring him to accompany her and the duke complied.

Con el tiempo no fue raro ver a Aline acompañada por Lancer, menos raro fue cuando Lancer se colaba en la biblioteca para verificar datos, pues era bien conocido que a la joven maestra Aline le gustaba molestar a Lancer con conocimiento del que este carecía, también era conocido que la joven maestra se molestaba con Lancer cuando este pasaba mucho tiempo entrenando con los caballeros, tanto así que más de una vez trato de convencer a su padre el duque para que no dejara a Lancer entrenar, esto el duque no lo tomo en cuenta, pues en su opinión, no aprovechar la habilidad de pelea del joven Lancer sería un desperdicio, además este joven podía proteger a su joven hija de los peligros que él no veía. Prueba de esto fue cuando su hija de se escapó de la mansión y se encontró con los 5 hombres que querían llevársela a quién sabe dónde, el joven Lancer fue el que la rescato y a su vez la ayudo a encontrar la forma de regresar al ducado para después simplemente retirarse sin pedir ningún reconocimiento.

Proof of this was when his daughter escaped from the mansion and met the 5 men who wanted to take her to who knows where, the young Lancer was the one who rescued her and in turn helped her to find a way to return to the duchy and then simply retired without asking for any recognition.
Los años pasaron rápido, cuando la joven maestra cumplió los 14 años, el joven Lancer tenía 16 años, en estos años los dos desarrollaron una fuerte amistad, la confianza que el duque le dio a Lancer para cuidar a su hija fue indiscutible al igual que la confianza que la joven maestra Alina le tenía. Lancer no vivía mal, hay que decir que los primeros años de su vida fueron muy difíciles para él, pues al pasar de un lado a otro como una carga y al depender de sí mismo le dieron un carácter que pocos pueden desarrollar, aun así, su ingreso en la casa del duque le gusto mucho y el cuidado que recibió por parte de los criados, los caballeros y de la joven maestra Aline fueron experiencias que hoy en día él aprecia como un tesoro.
El duque andaba desesperado, todo el ducado lo sabía, pues la joven maestra Alina se encontraba en un estado de salud muy delicado, a la edad de 18 años la joven maestra Alina tuvo tantas recaídas que al final la confinaron en la cama, la enfermedad que tenía era algo del corazón, una enfermedad que es muy difícil de curar, Lancer también estaba muy preocupado por su joven maestra, se encontraba muy impotente ante esta situación en la que no podía ayudar en nada y solo podía ver a su mejor amiga débil en la cama y al duque desesperado con la situación.
Llego una solución, o mejor dicho, una esperanza de cura para la joven maestra, una leyenda que contaba sobre un aventurero que logro ingresar al templo de Dios al cual se le concedió un deseo, obviamente esto parecía una tontería para el duque, pero después de una profunda investigación y consideración, se decidió enviar a Lancer para que consiguiera una de las recetas antiguas del templo o en el peor de los casos, que se sacrificara por el deseo para salvar la vida de Alina. Lancer no lo pensó mucho, todo lo que quería era que su mejor amiga pudiera vivir bien y sin miedo de caer a cada paso que daba, por lo que accedió fácilmente a la orden del duque y se presentó en el templo para cumplir la misión.
La joven maestra Alina no sabía nada, el duque no quería darle falsas esperanzas y mucho menos quería decirle que su mejor amigo se fue y posiblemente no vuelva, aun así no fue lo suficientemente rápido, la joven maestra Alina compenso la fuerza que no podía usar con el conocimiento y el control de la información relevante en el ducado e incluso fuera de este, por lo que rápidamente se enteró de que ordenaron a Lancer a sacrificarse en el templo por la oportunidad de obtener un medicamento para ella… No aguanto, no sabe de dónde saco la fuerza para hacer un desastre en la oficina de su padre, pero estaba segura de que le dejo claro que su estúpida decisión mato gran parte de la voluntad que tenía para seguir tolerando tratamientos dolorosos a los que la someten todos los días.

The duke was desperate, the whole duchy knew it, because the young teacher Alina was in a very delicate state of health, at the age of 18 years the young teacher Alina had so many relapses that in the end she was confined to bed, the disease she had was something of the heart, a disease that is very difficult to cure, Lancer was also very worried about his young teacher, he was very helpless in this situation in which he could not help at all and could only see his best friend weak in bed and the duke desperate with the situation.
There came a solution, or rather, a hope of cure for the young teacher, a legend that told of an adventurer who managed to enter the temple of God to which he was granted a wish, obviously this seemed silly to the duke, but after a thorough investigation and consideration, it was decided to send Lancer to get one of the ancient recipes of the temple or in the worst case, to be sacrificed for the wish to save Alina's life. Lancer didn't think much about it, all he wanted was that his best friend could live well and without fear of falling at every step she took, so he readily agreed to the duke's order and showed up at the temple to fulfill the mission.
The young teacher Alina did not know anything, the duke did not want to give her false hopes and much less wanted to tell her that her best friend was gone and possibly not return, even so it was not fast enough, the young teacher Alina compensated the strength she could not use with knowledge and control of relevant information in the duchy and even outside of it, so she quickly learned that Lancer was ordered to sacrifice himself in the temple for the opportunity to get a drug for her .... She can't stand it, she doesn't know where she got the strength to make a mess in her father's office, but she was sure she made it clear to him that her stupid decision killed much of the will she had to continue tolerating the painful treatments she was subjected to every day...

Pasaron los días, el aire en el ducado era pesado, la joven maestra se ha ido apagando y no se ha encontrado noticias del caballero Lancer en el templo, es como si se hubiera desvanecido, y esto tiene de peor humor al duque, algo característico del templo es que todo sobre ello es casi imposible de conseguir o de influenciar, la única manera es que ellos te acepten y te pongan a prueba, pero esto es muy complicado y se considera más como un sacrificio para su Dios, ya que ninguno de los que se presentó se volvió a ver vivo.

¿Qué tal? ¿qué opinan? Para ser honesta, esta historia nació con la intención de crear un vinculo de amistad profundo entre el caballero Lancer y la joven maestra Alina, al principio quería darle un final triste con la muerte de alguien pero después lo deje con la distancia... La preocupación por un ser querido que sacrifico su estilo de vida por darte la comodidad de vivir bien, sin siquiera tener la seguridad de que esa persona de verdad esta viva... No se, me pareció mejor opción que la muerte de algún personaje. A la final quise dar algo de consuelo, de ahí el titulo y el final de la historia.

To be honest, this story was born with the intention of creating a deep bond of friendship between the knight Lancer and the young teacher Alina, at first I wanted to give it a sad ending with the death of someone but then I left it with the distance... The concern for a loved one who sacrificed his lifestyle to give you the comfort of living well, without even having the certainty that this person is really alive... I don't know, it seemed to me a better option than the death of some character. In the end I wanted to give some consolation, hence the title and the end of the story.
