Clinton habia sido un artista como cualquier otro, con talento, sueños y aficiones, la gente lo llamaba “El grande de RisingStar”, sin embargo, nunca alcanzó el éxito a plenitud.
Lo llamaban ingenuo, simplón y débil, pues anteponía su familia a cualquier evento sea cual sea, pensaba que ellos merecían su 100% y aunque la música fuera su amada, no convertiría a su esposa en una amante, los suyos siempre serían el primer lugar y, eso causaba críticas y admiración a partes iguales.

Clinton had been an artist like any other, with talent, dreams and hobbies, people called him "The Great RisingStar", however, he never achieved full success.
They called him naïve, simplistic and weak, because he put his family before any event whatever, he thought they deserved his 100% and although music was his beloved, he would not turn his wife into a lover, his own would always come first and that caused criticism and admiration in equal parts.

Un día mientras se preparaba para entrar al escenario un chico se le acercó y pidió entrar a su camerino, este afirmaba que lo admiraba y entendía su visión al mundo, pero pensaba que era importante que supiera que sus enemigos querían verlo fallar, el chico le aconsejaba adelantarse a sus adversarios y enfrentarlos antes de recibir un golpe.
Clinton sonrío como de costumbre y le explico:
- Para que enfrentarlos, si ellos han sellado su destino, prefiero ser considerado débil e ingenuo que astuto y vil, hay manera de defenderse y no es generando mayor confrontación, a fin de cuentas los motivos que acompañan su maldad son resultado de lo poco que la vida les ha enseñado de la nobleza y el amor.
El chico insistía en que su caída se acercaba y el debía defenderse porque si no lo perdería todo y más, Clinton nuevamente replicó:
- Prefiero perder todo y preservar el respeto en mí mismo, mis valores y criterio tienen un peso inamovible.
El chico molesto comenzó a balbucear y exclamó que perdería su legado. Clinton nuevamente le contestó:
- Si tanto me conoces deberías más que escuchar, entender mi música y lo que el legado significa para mi. Quiero dejar una huella en la música, pero no quiero dejar mi alma en el proceso. Que le enseñaría a mis hijos, si me valgo de tretas para lograr lo que quiero, la defensa propia es un motivo débil para atacar. Puedo dejarle millones a mis hijos pero si no les enseñó el real valor de lo que les he dejado entonces estaré fallando.

Clinton smiled as usual and explained:
- Why confront them, if they have sealed their fate, I would rather be considered weak and naive than cunning and vile, there is a way to defend themselves and it is not by generating further confrontation, at the end of the day the motives that accompany their evil are the result of how little life has taught them of nobility and love.
The boy insisted that his downfall was approaching and he must defend himself or else he would lose everything and more, Clinton again replied:
- I would rather lose everything and preserve respect in myself, my values and judgment have immovable weight.
The annoyed boy began to babble and exclaimed that he would lose his legacy. Clinton again replied:
- If you know me so well you should more than listen, understand my music and what legacy means to me. I want to leave a mark in music, but I don't want to leave my soul in the process. What would I teach my children, if I use gimmicks to get what I want, self-defense is a weak motive to attack. I can leave millions to my children but if I don't teach them the real value of what I have left them then I will be failing.

El chico enojado trato de salir del camerino, pero Clinton antes de irse le preguntó:
- ¿Estás bien?
El chico le explicó que le molestaba la injusticia en el mundo, no entendía como la maldad prevalecía y aunque las historias hablaban de finales felices para los buenos y derrota a los malos, no siempre era así.
Clinton escuchó cada palabra y queja, no sin antes compartirle un consejo:
- ¿Qué te parece si dejas de dividir al mundo en malos y buenos? Quizás lo que te falta para apreciar una buena historia no es mirar y obsesionarte con lo que sucede con los malos, sino enfocarte en la manera en que puedes construir y escribir tu historia. Olvida por un momento que le sucede al que te hace mal, aléjate y construye lo que quieres, confía en los que demuestran su apoyo y incondicional, aprende de lo que significa la vida.
El chico miró sorprendido a Clinton, pero ese mensaje quedó en su mente toda la vida.

The angry boy tried to leave the dressing room, but Clinton asked him before leaving:

The boy explained that he was bothered by the injustice in the world, he did not understand how evil prevailed and although the stories spoke of happy endings for the good guys and defeat to the bad guys, it was not always like that.
Clinton listened to every word and complaint, but not before sharing a piece of advice with her:
- How about you stop dividing the world into bad guys and good guys? Maybe what you're missing to appreciate a good story is not to look and obsess about what happens to the bad guys, but to focus on how you can build and write your story. Forget for a moment what happens to the one who does you wrong, walk away and build what you want, trust those who show support and unconditional, learn from what life is all about.
The boy looked at Clinton in surprise, but that message stayed in his mind all his life.

Clinton se subió a ese escenario y a muchos más, tuvo altas y bajas, y no se hablará de su patrimonio en términos monetarios, porque dejó algo más valioso al mundo, un legado lleno de valores y el verdadero significado de la vida.
El chico creció y cambió su realidad y el nombre de Jarred cambió el ámbito musical, pero recordó aquel hombre que le enseñó lo que un verdadero legado representa y debe ser.

Me sorprende un poco la forma en que Clinton se expresa. Aunque, no se si es muy sabio o un poco tonto. Pueda que tenga de las 2, porque no es necesario Hacer maldades y a la vez, ser considerado débil no es tan bueno.
Sii es una filosofía noble pero el mundo no es solo algodones.
