Esta semana dejamos la temática de los avatares zombies y empezamos con los robots, para mi es algo complicado todavía pero viene excelente para practicar y aprender :D
No se por qué todo lo llevo a un lado maligno pero bueno jajaja quise representar a Plank como una especie de IA malvada escondida tras esa inofensiva mascara de bueno que tiene, quien sabe y estemos viviendo algo así sin saberlo... 👀

This time I want to share my entry for the weekly challenge by @hashkings.
This week, we've moved away from the theme of zombie avatars and started with robots. For me, it's still a bit complicated, but it's an excellent opportunity to practice and learn! 😄
I don't know why I always take everything to the dark side, but oh well, hahaha! I wanted to depict Plank as some sort of evil AI hidden behind that innocent-looking mask of goodness. Who knows, maybe we're experiencing something like that without even knowing it... 👀
Bueno para el boceto apliqué básicamente lo que dije al principio, dar a Plank esa personalidad de IA malvada escondida tras esa mascara de bueno, no batallé mucho ya que sabia lo que quería hacer desde el principio, aunque dibujar cosas robóticas es difícil, ya que tiene líneas rectas y no es algo que me guste usar

Well, for the sketch, I basically applied what I mentioned at the beginning: giving Plank that personality of an evil AI hidden behind that innocent-looking mask of goodness. I didn't struggle much because I knew what I wanted to do from the start, although drawing robotic things is challenging for me since it involves straight lines, and it's not something I enjoy using.
La segunda mitad ya se complicó un poco por lo que dije antes de dar esas líneas perfectas y rectas, aunque al final muy pocas líneas rectas usé, hice casi todo a mano alzada nada mas traté de no usar tantas curvas y no sé, me gustó como se ve.
Luego de esto puse el color de fondo sobre el cual iba a darle los detalles y colores finales al personaje

The second half did get a bit complicated, as I mentioned before, with those perfect and straight lines. However, in the end, I used very few straight lines, and I mostly freehanded it. I tried not to use too many curves, and I don't know, I liked how it turned out.
After that, I added the background color, and on top of it, I added the final details and colors to the character.
El ultimo paso, dar luces y sombras y por supuesto el color, al ser un robot solo opté darle un color de puro metal, aunque al final se me ocurrieron agregar otros colores pero bueno, en la siguiente lo aplicaré 😄
Y nada más al final me quedó jugar un poco con el fondo para resaltar al personaje.

The last step was to add lights and shadows, and of course, the color. Since it's a robot, I decided to give it a pure metal color, although in the end, I thought about adding other colors, but oh well, I'll try that in the next one! 😄
Finally, I played around with the background a bit to make the character stand out.
Sinceramente ya no se como explicar los pasos jaja creo que tal vez contare todo de otra manera oo no se xd.. Pero... Este es el resultado final espero que les guste 😄

Tu dibujo tiene una pinta macabra, me gusta esa cara maligna que esconde detrás de la máscara, me pregunto cuanto tardaste en hacer esta obra de arte, bueno está genial, gran diseño, te deseo suerte en esta ronda.
Gracias amigo, ehmm no sé cuánto tardé pero suele ser un par de horas entre distracciones y todo eso 🤣
Pero que bueno que esta, me gusto el detalle de esa pose así quitando la mascara y revelando su rostro ufff.
